Glad Home Depot continues to carry this accessory. Recent news is that this item has been discontinued. Great for maintaining a good "indirect cooking" method. They last a long time and provide excellent cooking method for chicken, fish or anything requiring indirect heat. GREAT DEAL

Great for Smoking
These are great for smoking Brisket! Build 2 fires on both sides of your Weber Grill, place a 3-5 lb. piece of shoulder or brisket in the middle and you're good to go in about 3 hours.

REPLACEMENT RAILS
The charcoal rails work as expected. I am not sure why they are not available in stores. They will last for quite some time. The first pair would still be in use if the mower didn't eat one. Long story.

Weber products are great quality
Have only used Weber grills and products for years. These were replacement rails for my grill. I would only ever use Weber products and purchasing them through HomeDepot.com was quick and easy.

Charcoal Rails
Item should be available in stores, but is not. Great for indirect cooking. Used a long time ago and cannot find in stores anymore.
Without the rails you have to remove the top rack and get coals to one side of grill and then replace top rack. Great for the charcoal smoke taste without burning items like ribs.

'Must-have' for indirect heat
These charcoal rails were part of my first Weber Kettle purchased twenty years ago. They are an accessory now and are nearly indispensible for smoking, roasting or any other method requiring indirect heat.

Weber BBQ Charcoal Rails
These rails make it possible to use the BBQ as a charcoal oven. I would not be able to use my Webbie without them. I find it hard to believe that when one buys a new Weber BBQ that it comes with NO accessories. Weber is really a fine company. They replaced some parts for me on a 25 year old BBQ at no charge. I have been cooking my Thanksgiving Butterball turkey on the Webbie for 35 years. I use the indirect method and add wet hickory chips at the beginning, and every time I add charcoal. Diners comments are 100% that it is the best turkey that they ever ate. It is necessary to use a Butter basted turkey (Butterball works best) to keep the breast moist.
