It took about 10 minutes for the water to clear after using two bags of this in a new filter cylinder. It's doing its job, and with the help of some injected H2O2 has removed the horrible rotten egg smell that comes out of our well. Delivery was quick and packaging was adequate. The price was better than all other options I found online.

The size of the charcoal was more like dust than...
The size of the charcoal was more like dust than pellets. It leaked out into my pond and made a huge mess of black water. Do not use in ponds.
I am returning the remaining.
Unfortunately, when I did ask about the size of the charcoal; the response was they didn’t know and were only able to give me the weight. Very disappointed in the product.

wrong media size - NOT FOR LARGE FULL HOUSE WATER FILTER SYSTEM
You need a bigger size mesh for the whole house water system. With this mesh size which is 12x40, it will NOT produce enough water. Our tank is extra large one but still we had water cut off in middle of bath. I am trying to replace with a bigger mesh size 8x16.

I needed this in a hurry for a commercial RO system and HD came though. I can order it slightly less online but when you add in shipping the cost it is cheaper to purchase at Home Depot. Plus, they had it for pickup the next day! Thanks
