[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot say enough about the quality of the Vicks Starry Night Cool Moisture Humidifier. It is the perfect size for a child’s bedroom. It holds one gallon of water which will last about 24 hours. It can be used with Vicks Vapopads that can be purchased separately. It projects colorful stars on the ceiling that helps kids drift off to sleep while breathing comfortably. A must have during cold season.

But then we got this and it's absolutely a game changer made our room clean and clear no more stuffy noses! The only thing that sucks is filling it most every night. And it doesn't hold much water but other than that it's super effective and the lights at night are cute.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been through our share of different humidifiers. This one we set up in our 3yo's room to try out the night light. He liked watching the range of colors, and the moon on his ceiling. The humidifier itself is large, but definitely suitable for a large room; honestly may have been overkill for his size room. The scent pad is strong, but effective! It lasted about 24hours, but was too overwhelming for us to continue to utilize. The two different modes (high and sleep mode) were sufficient, buy wish there was more of a range. The high mode is noisy, buy sleep mode is suitable. There is a very soft hum, but still fine for a sleeping environment.

My son sleeps so much better at night now because of the humidifier mostly but he loves the stars in his room. This is perfect. It's easy to use and very durable. I will be purchasing more things in the future. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Unlike other cool mist humidifiers I own, this one has a filter that has to be taken out and left to ‘dry’ and replaced ever couple months. All I can think about when using this humidifier is how invisible mold spores are being released from the filter. The projector doesn’t work very well, it’s blurry and doesn’t span a great distance. I would pass on this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Vicks Starry Night Cool Mist Humidifier is such a great product to use whether your child is ill or they just need help sleeping. The humidifier releases the perfect amount of moisture into the air for my child's room size helping him to breathe easier and sleep better. I love that you can add little tabs to the inside to help with illness or that just release pleasant fragrances to help induce sleep (such as lavender). Also the addition of the projected stars adds even more to the peaceful ambiance. I would definitely recommend this product.

It keeps moisture in the air while she is sleeping. Plus it has a cool light display while acts as a night light. Very cool.

This was so great with putting extra moisture in the air next to my bed. The cool mist is wonderful. It helped ease my symptoms to make it more bearable. I like the star ceiling lights as well!

I bought Vicks Model 3700 for my bedroom last year and I paid around $38 for it. Its brochure recommends to change its filter every 1-2 months. This year I contacted the manufacturer to purchase new filters, They charge $19.95 for the filter plus $9.95 for its shipping. I consider it too excessive and decided not use it anymore and buy another brand. Baron S.

It is very quiet and effectively adds mist and moisture to the room. The option to use the vapo pods is also a great added bonus.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never been one that has used humidifers before for myself, but I thought I could try it to see if I notice a difference since I got this one for review. Well, I can't say I noticed a massive change the first few nights, but the first night I slept without it, I woke up super dry and very uncomfortable. So I think it's safe to say it works! I like that there is a sleep mode and full max mode and that you can have the nightlight part on or off.

It adds helpful, much needed moisture to the room. I like that it is cool mist, it makes it feel safer for my child's room. My child loves that this humidifier projects a starry night scene onto the ceiling! It has several fun colors even. This is a really great product.

The overall design shape is perfect, it doesn't take up a lot of space and is attractive. It's a bit different from others in the way it's filled but I really like it much better. To fill you lift the tank from the top, flip it over, open the port, and fill, once the cap is placed back on the water is basically impossible to spill as you flip it back over and slides into place easily. I really like that it has a filter to catch all the minerals from the water. It runs super quietly and has invisible mist. It can be used with or without VapoPads and comes with one sleepy time comfort pad to try, I slept so well the first time I used it and felt so refreshed the next day. This humidifier also has a great option of casting stars on the ceiling, which is lovely and so soothing. You can run it with or without the stars but I love the stars! I highly recommend this product, perfect for a kid's room or for adults it can be enjoyed at any age and really helps during cold/flu season!

I love that it has a large tank and different settings, including sleep mode that runs a little quieter. My daughter loves the starry night projector and I like it to if we have to get up in the middle of the night for any reason. Added bonus is that you can slip in a Vick's pack if your kiddo is sick.

They loved the night light and been using it since then, they find it very relaxing but the only thing that I would like them to add for it to be perfect would've a timer. The humidifier itself is good quality it's very quiet, it holds up about a gallon of water and we notice that It will last about 2 nights which is nice, is easy to clean and use and when you need to replace your filters you can get them almost everywhere which makes it very convenient. We absolutely loved it and recommend it specially if you have kids.

Prior to researching, I assumed that all humidifiers give off a scented mist; specifically, those are referred to as "cool mist" humidifiers (scents optional), whereas the "cool moisture" humidifiers provide moisture without a noticeable mist. These machines also require filters, which need to be cleaned frequently and replaced often. Basically, however, all humidifiers are designed to add moisture to the sleeping environment so that users get a more restful sleep night's sleep by keeping the nose and throat moisturized. The added scents and "white noise" from the machine can also add to relaxation prior to sleep. The Starry Night Cool Moisture Humidifier does all the above, plus it offers a colorful night show on the ceiling that kids especially enjoy as they are drifting off to sleep. But, be aware that to get the full benefit of what this humidifier offers, it does take a bit of responsibility by the consumer. The machine tank requires cleaning and refilling after every night that it is used; the filters require cleaning/replacing; and the VapoPads which are added for scent only last for 8 hours and replacements seem expensive for 12 pods (lavendar is our favorite; the menthol is initially very strong). Generally, however, the extra work is worth the effort if family members are reaping the benefits of a restful night's sleep.

I use it in a room that's 11feet by 12 feet. The Humidifier cleared up my stuffy nose overnight! Also, the starry night projector was entertaining to say the least (who would have thought).

I love the built in nightlight! The other night my daughter woke up with a horrible coughing spell. She sat in her bed crying. I was about to walk in her room without turning lights on. Which is great when a little one is sick... cause turning the light on would fully wake her up! The humidors is great! Diff levels which is nice depending on what room we set it up in! I am very impressed and thankful for this little machine!

A big plus about this is that it doesn't make noise so your littles won't wake up. It's also easy to fill up and figure out how to use. Definitely recommend!
