Assembly
I don’t know about some of the reviews but mine came in 3 boxes, with lots of assembly, I was under the impression the cabinet was 1 piece and the fireplace a 2nd. I am a widow and have no mechanical ability whatsoever so this is a little disappointing.

We have had the Valmont 76 inch Media Console Electric Fireplace for about a month and are extremely pleased. It was delivered on time and the quality is excellent, well documented assembly instructions and was easy to complete assembly.
We would recommend this product to anyone that is looking for a electric fireplace media console. We looked at many before purchasing this one and are well pleased with our choice. The appearance of the fire in the fireplace is a very good representation of an actual fire.

We LOVE it!
Since getting this we use it every day! My 6 year old knows how to turn it on and turn the heat on. It is the 1st thing she does each and every morning. I also use the timer setting so that it turns itself off before the babysitter leaves the house so it will never accidentally get left on.

Nice unit
It comes in three boxes. It took me about three hours (alone) to put it together but all fits together nicely. There are no written instructions but rather sketches to follow...if you take your time, it is relatively easy. Everything works as advertised. Because of component wiring I did not install the backs on the two sides. (In the video, the red glow is because of some backlighting I have behind the unit.)

We are very happy with the unit. Since it's spring, and no real need for the heater element, we haven't truly tested it out beyond knowing that it definitely works well for a short time. It looks great and is exactly what we were looking for.

very elegant looking piece of furniture
VERY pleased with this product. Easy to assemble took my wife and I about 1 1/2 HRS. We were impressed with the amount of real wood in it. A bit more than we wanted to spend but well worth it

Really Nice!
It is a very good-looking electric fireplace tv stand. The fire is about the best I have seen as far as realistic flames, and I looked at quite a few models. It does put out a fair amount of heat as well, I have a large basement and does a good job of supplementing the two heat vents I have down there that just needed some help keeping the basement warm, especially on these zero-degree days. I was very pleased with the looks and function of this fireplace. it was easy to put together, however it did take some time, so allow yourself some time to put together, but it was easy and uncomplicated to do so.

Arrived in great condition. Very good instructions. The assembly was typical of such units, and I found the hardware to be very robust. Took me about 2 hours to assemble, working alone.
The Real Flame insert (electric) works as advertised, and I find that the flame effects are pretty good. I’ve seen some lousy fake fireplaces; this is NOT one of them. The heater (1500 watts) works well and does make a noticeable difference in the area, which is about 550 sf.
HD had the best price of all I found, and with a 10% off coupon, win win win!

Good and Bad
looks nice, solid construction, lighter than the photos though and constantly trips the breaker when we turn the heat function on. also, the remote battery died after 3 days even though the safety sleeve was in place when we opened it

Beautiful piece. Very happy.
I put this together and set everything up in 3 hours all by myself. It is a beautiful piece of furniture and the photo directions are very easy to follow. I am very happy.

Very Attractive
I have been researching electric fireplaces for a few months. I decided on this one because it was very pretty and the mantel did not look like a TV stand. The shelves are nice and hold the cable box and are useful. The fireplace has different levels of flame. I did not care about that feature but others might. The output of heat is good. The logs are cheesy. I had a Duralog that I put in my real fireplace and it did not look fake. Other than that, it was the nicest one I found.
