I ordered this online and when I got it home from the store it came with the wrong base. Turns out the images shown on the website for left hand and right hand base are incorrect. I had to return the item because it would not work in my bathroom and they could not replace the base because it was not only back ordered but the supplier would not ship on a base. I think this would have made a great shower, but it was misrepresented on the website.

The door was difficult to put together however once it was up it looked great. It was delivered to my home and I found that to be very convenient. I have not used the shower yet because the plumber hasn't finished yet, but I can't wait.

I was very EXCITED about having "Extra Tall" Glass shower.... highly disappointed!!! The diminsions DO NOT give size of BASE. *Both the 74" & 79" kits have the SAME 71" glass door/wall. I guess u need a 8 inch high base (may as well use bathtub) to get proper 79" height desired. Beautiful kit but, NOT AS ADVERTISED. #RETURNED

Bought this for a 1st floor bathroom/laundry room combo & am thoroughly satisfied with this unit. Having the glass wall plus the shower door gliding is really sharp & up-to-date with many of the high-end units out there. Plus being able to tile the other 2 walls with real tile versus the fiberglass option of some pre-packaged units really looks great. We tiled with porcelain tiles that look like travertine -- nice! Just make sure when installing you level & balance the door since it moves freely & can roll.

We bought this about a month ago and just had it installed. It is 36" x 60" and adds a very attractive look to our bathroom. It is very spacious and makes showering very easy.

In addition to dealing with Lowe's horrendous customer service and lack of commitment, although we ordered VG6051STCL48WL, we received VG6051STCL48WR. (A week later than promised.) No worries, though! We changed up our bathroom design and made it work. And it works beautifully! Super heavy glass panels, sharp metal accents. Solid base. Make sure to set with enough mortar! All in all, a perfect staple for the bathroom.

I purchased a 36x48 rectangular shower enclosure to go into a new home we are building. I was very impressed with the quality of everything from the packaging , to the instructions, to the quality of the hardware. The installation was almost complete when I broke the sliding door(uuugh). I called Vigo and spoke with technical support. The support and responsiveness was much more then I could ask for. They went out of there way to make sure that I got the part I needed. I researched and looked at many models for our shower. I can whole heartily recommend Vigo for the quality of the product as well as outstanding customer service. I'm very satisfied with this company.

I bought this a couple of months ago, took that long to get the project ready for the enclosure to be installed. All the parts needed were labeled and nothing was missing. The instructions were OK. The ability to adjust for out of square/out of level could be better.

I ordered this enclosure through Home Depot. It arrived with broken glass, but a Vigo sales representative (Kathy) sorted out the issues for me and quickly shipped out some glass as a replacement. I found the quality of the product very good. The mechanical parts are solid, the hardware is good, and the overall design is super nice. When installed, it's a rigid setup. Pay careful attention to make sure everything is level and square. This will ensure a leak-free setup!

I have had this product for over a year now and it has held up well. It was delivered on time and was installed easily by a qualified person. I had one problem when I accidently ripped a rubber seal from the bottom of the door. Through an online chat with a service rep, the part was ordered and will be delivered in a few days. Although the warranty had actually run out, they opted to not charge me for the part. I would not hesitate to do business with them again.

This is the latest of our purchases from Vigo. We have previously purchased their similar shower doors (w/o the glass side-panel), as well as a stainless-steel shower-tower and a faucet and drain. Vigo products are truly top notch and can't be beat for both design and engineering. Once you realize you can have all the style and function you desire, and at an unexpectedly great value, you will look first to Vigo whenever planning any updates/renos, just as we do.

Had a good experience with a 4' x 3' Vigo Glass rectangular shower. The enclosure is frameless matte finish outside (inside is always shiny for the water to drop off). I bought 48.125 in. x 36.125 in. x 74 in. Frameless Bypass Shower Enclosure in Stainless Steel and Frosted Glass with Left Base Feels very solidly built. Absolutely need to make sure that the walls are perfectly vertical and the shower base is perfectly horizontal. The installation of the shower base was over the sub-floor. Around the shower, if there are tiles, there is a layer of backer board over the sub-floor. The installation of the shower took barely a couple of hours after ensuring that the walls (I had new sheetrock) are perfectly vertical and the base is perfectly horizontal. The next day it took about 1 day to cut and mount quartz shower panels. The cost was $120 for a 3' x 7' panel for one side, $200 for a 3' x 7' panel for the other side. I had 8' height. So, the 1' x 7' left over piece was just about enough to fill the top. Quartz panels were mounted with liquid nails. One the 3rd day it took 3hrs to install the shower enclosure. Only thing I did not like were the allen screws. Installer also struggled a bit. It all looked good but I sent photos of the shower to Brian Luby Tech Support Manager www.vigoindustries.com He noted immediately that the glass was shiny outside and matte inside, apologized for the wrong shipping and right before his Christmas holidays, he shipped 3 glass panels. Since the order was through Home Depot, they agreed to compensate me $100 in store credit for the mistake. I passed on the money to the installer and they replaced the glass in 1hour. It is very important to use 100% Silicon caulk to prevent leaks. Checked after 24hrs for a leak and had to re-apply the caulk where there was a leak. The important lesson here is to check the materials immediately on receipt, be prepared to pack and take to Home Depot immediately if there is a problem. My glass enclosure was opened only on the day of the installation and the installer did not realize that the glass was flipped. Fantastic support by Vigo industries and particularly by Brian Luby. This is the second door I've installed Both are high Quality

When ordering an item through the internet, there is always the fear that product quality might not match the on-line photos. I must say, when the unit arrived, I was greatly impressed with the quality. All metal parts were made from solid cast brass and the glass panels were 3/8 inch thick: not like the 1/4 to 5/16 of others that I have looked at. This shower is going to last a long time.

The assembly instructions on this item lack much to be desired. I hired a professional to install this item and after decades of experience in this field, even he was baffled. We called VIGO for some clarification and were treated like amateurs. We left messages trying to get a callback, waited hours, then days. No action from company to explain anything. When we finally got thru, the tech support rep hadn't even pulled the part to look at the problem. From the price this cost, I expect more, alot more. I've never taken the time to write a review but this time it warrants my efforts. BUY SOMETHING ELSE!!
