The finished product looks amazing. We've had so many compliments. The thickness of the glass and smooth rolling door are especially nice. Installation had a few hiccups along the way due to directions that I didn't understand clearly enough but nothing that was really bad. Definitely caulk the edges of the clear weather-stripping as recommended otherwise water drops tend to get inside and run out the bottom.

We love the look of our new shower enclosure. It makes the bathroom feel like a high end hotel room. It was easy to install and appears to be well Built overall. We are very pleased with this purchase.

My first install. Bought it at the beginning of remodel to set base. Base was easy to install. Installed the glass after tile. Very straight forward instructions but take your time. Everything squared up nicely and adjustments were within reason. Could have included a few more shims for the door. Pretty heavy so get two people. Whatever they treat the glass with to resist water spots, works. Everyone who sees it loves it. Thanks Vigo

High quality look and feel. Straightforward to assemble. One note is that the included shower pan has an offset drain - something not apparent from the product description. Resulted in quite a bit of additional effort to relocate the drain plumbing.

Easier than expected installation. Purchased the surround with the base for a guest bathroom remodel. Great instruction, quality parts.

I did a lot of on-line research and chose Vigo because they had the the size and correct door configuration I was looking for. Also in reading their reviews it seemed to be a reasonably good product. One thing that had been mentioned in the reviews which became true in my case is damage during shipping. This is not Vigo's fault because they do a reasonably good job of packaging their product. However, due to just the nature of what is being shipped it is very easy for the product to become damaged. Even though we did as good a job as possible in inspecting the boxes when we signed for them there was still scratches in one of the glass panels probably from a forklift. We did not discover the damage until later when the installation was in progress. Once you sign for the product you own it and have very little recourse with the shipping company or Vigo. That being said, I found that for the money it was a very good product. Also it was mentioned in some of the reviews that the instructions are not very clear which I found to be true. I have experience in construction and installation and still had some difficulty understanding the instructions. My recommendations for installation would be to make sure you use a bedding cement for under the shower base to give it a solid feel and protect it from stress cracking over time. Also make sure you have solid blocking behind the wall where you will be mounting the brackets for the shower door and fixed glass panel. It's critical for your tile walls and shower pan to be level and plumb although part of the shower's design features allows for a slight adjustment to compensate for minor out of plumb cissues or wall and floor movement in the future. Finally, be very careful in trimming the plastic weather stripping especially on the shower door, if not done correctly it can result in a leak. You will also need to rent commercial suction cups to handle the large glass panels since they are heavy, bulky and difficult to set in place with one person. It will take a second person to lift it in place.

Although I've not had this product for very long, it was easy to install and looks great!

We needed to update our master bath to replace an old enclosure that was not installed correctly (over the years the pan cracked and seams along the walls and door leaked). This was an perfect replacement for our space. Following the directions VERY carefully this install went great. We were able to save all wall tile and not do a total tear out and rebuild. It took some time to fit in (tile trim was required) but totally worth the effort. Looks better then it ever did, not a single leak and pan is rock solid.

The thing that we like is you dont have to worry about cleaning all the frame work out from that nasty soap scum.but the thing we dont like is that we paid for and received two nice glass glass shelves but where the holes are for them we cant even use them ,that is a real disapointment ,if i would have known that we could have built them in to the tile when we built the shower

This is a well made product and everything was there, be careful of small parts wrapped in some of the packaging and follow the instructions and then follow them again.

Very stunning product when completed. See pic!!! the tile work should be a smooth and plumb as possible. The side seal strip is unique but easily conforms to most of the tile.(ensure you caulk here real good) The set back from finished wall for the base track needs to be approx 1/4 (puzzling. why, I do not know) i made the mistake and caulked, but when i went to install panels, the base track was too short and i had to remove everything and start from scratch.(5 screws and silicone. what a mess) I moved the base track off of the wall approx a 1/4" and it worked fine. (i had 5 holes i needed to fill in with silicone and made 5 new ones. most are hidden) The 4 connection screws for the glass support were to short for my tile application. (2" is best) There should be a gasket where glass supports meet the tiled wall. i used a glob of silicone behind the support as a gasket. Silicone caulk the base track at the end. (as i stated earlier and that little 1/4" gap from wall to base track. ???) Two man job at certain points. Do not forget the shims on the hinges! The door is heavy and wants to rest on all hinge hardware. The shims keep the metal and glass cushioned. You may need to get more shims as this kit, for me, lacked enough to complete the job. ( i used some gasket material i had on hand.) The install of door sweep is challenging. ( i guess that's why they give you two) Use small brad nail in gap to properly tighten door handle trim. This is not an easy DIY. 6 hours is not to bad! And because of the little nuances i mentioned, it makes this product only 4 stars!

I consider myself a very good DIYer and the installation of this product required great patience and precise installation. The reviews I have read where customer complains about door not shutting correctly or perhaps water leakage by the door can all probably be traced back to poor installation. The installation manual clearly states that manufacturer recommends that this product be installed by a professional. In addition, because of the excessive weight of the product, at least two strong individuals are needed to install the enclosure. The magnetic seals on the door are two 45 degree magnets that when met create the 90 degree corner. The magnets run the entire length of the door and thus everything must be perfectly plum and square. The critical areas of the install are the walls that the glass enclosure gets attached (they need to be perfectly plum), the shower pan must be perfectly squared into the corner of the walls, when the base shower wall tracks are installed onto the pan the tracks must be perfectly squared to the walls, and when the shower enclosure walls are installed they must be plum. If any of these are not perfectly plum or square the two 45 degree magnets will not meet correctly to form a tight 90 degree corner. Once installed this is a very classy looking shower enclosure. Prior to purchasing I would strongly recommend that the installation instruction be read to ensure that your walls are plum, square and have the proper wood stud supports in the appropriate areas to support this very heavy glass enclosure. You need vertical wood studs at each of the two corners of the shower enclosure. The specs for this product lists the weight of this product at 282 pounds. Probably one of the heaviest products I installed. The product is very nicely packaged and gets shipped in three boxes; the base shower pan about 35 pounds, hardware for the shower enclosure about 35 pounds, three glass panels (side glass panel, front glass panel, and door panel) about 215 pounds ( this box felt a lot heavier).

Great product,very high quality material, easy to follow instructions, they even include every Allen wrench you need! Well worth the cost. Have a second bathroom that is next on the list to remodel and will be buying another door from Vigo.

We replaced the old PVC prefab shower and tiled the wall with marble and mosaic tile. The order of the shower was delayed due to a backorder but was well worth the wait. Everything was packaged well and all parts were indicated on the parts list. The shower pan is very thick, heavy duty,not flimsy like a lot of shower bases. This one will hold up well in my eyes. It does have a non slip pebbling to it but can't rate that until we take the maiden shower in it. It looks great though. The glass walls were a breeze to install and the directions were well written. Had some confusion on how to trim the seals but thanks to good direction we were able to sort it out. Everything went together smoothly and flawless. I would recommend Vigo showers to anyone wanting a good quality frame-less shower. We also installed a spa shower system and can't wait for the sealant to cure so we can take a nice, long pampered shower. Now we need to finish the bathroom reno around our shiny new shower!

it was easy to install, sadly it has a bottom aluminum sill ( it said frameless). I just installed it so not sure how it performs. It was very well packed and easy instructions. I've had not contact with customer service

Just what we were looking for. It really opens up the room to more light. Pretty simple installation but a few inconsistencies in the directions. Do recommend this product.

Product looks nice however numerous leaks despite experienced installer applying silicone according to instructions. The strip at the base of the door does not stop water from leaking outside. I am off to home depot to find a strip that works. Water leaking where hinges are and where side strips reach the base. More silicone applied. One hinge was broken. We were told to apply WD 40. Sent a photo with the problem and vigo couriered a replacement hinge. Contractor had to take off door and start again. Home Depot did provide a credit but in the end I will be out of pocket. Not a happy customer!

Frameless corner shower with study base included; Glass panels are thick and strong; hardware included is high quality; Pictures on website do not show vinyl sealing strips that need to be placed on the door edge -- these are required so that water from the shower doesn't leak out - but detract somewhat from a clean appearance. Otherwise - shower is great.

Absolutely beautiful and functional. Highest quality materials and workmanship. Instructions for the installation and care were clear and concise.
