[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had my cottage reroofed and replaced two existing skylights with two Velux fixed Skylights. They look great, are well constructed and look like they will hold up for a long time. The price was also very reasonable.

We purchased 4 replacement fixed skylights and they are awesome. The features have been improved over the years and they look sound amazing. So happy with the upgrade

This was a replacement for and ugly plexiglass leaking skylight. So much of an improvement.

Bought this for my wife's birthday present. I installed it a month ago and it's been great!

They bring so much light into the rooms. I love that the blinds are solar powered too and can use the remote to open and close them. Great product.

Great product. Definitely recommended. Installed it during our enclosed patio remodel. Technically, the slope of my roof isn't big enough, but so far so good... (fingers crossed).

We replaced the old ones with the New Velux and glad we did.

Crystal clear skylight. Quick installation. Order came in sooner than expected. I had to replace a nearby 30 year old plexiglass skylight that came with our track home. The original was cracking but not yet leaking. I wanted to replace it before it leaked! Velux is glass and the view amazing

Replaced my existing skylights that were nearly 20 years old. Love the look and really appreciate the peace of mind that comes with the warranty.

Our Velux replacement fixed skylight was installed with our new roof in December in our bathroom. ( Previous owners had a skylight installed at some point and it was cloudy with age and in need of replacement. Also, there is no space for a window in this twin home.) I love the sunlight that floods our bathroom every day and also lights up a dark hallway and stairwell!! I don't need to turn on the light when I am home during the day as I am retired. I also enjoy seeing the moon and stars at night thru the crystal clear glass in the skylight. Our roof installer wishes he had one in his home too as he lives in an identical twin house!! I would recommend a skylight to anyone who has a dark stairwell or room without a window. You just can't beat the natural sunlight!!

Just got done replacing my 8 existing skylights with New Velux units that come with preinstalled solar shades. This combo qualifies for a 30% federal tax credit which brings the cost below the Fixed Skylight cost without the shades. I can't wait to reap the savings on my utility bills too! Skylight were installed by my local Velux dealer who did a wonderful job.

Had a Verlux that failed from being ok and replaced with a new one. Really good quality and now a vinyl frame instead of wood. Happy with the purchase.

Installed two new VELUX FSC06 skylights with solar powered blackout shades. Love them!! They bring in so much natural light into our living room now that I hardly ever have to turn on lamps in the room. Both shades can be programmed to open and close together. Wonder why I waited so long to add this beautiful addition to our home!

Replaced an old, leaky skylight with this high quality product. Very pleased with my choice!

Installed 2 replacement skylights within 5 hours. Very well done and looks great. Glad to get rid of the wood frames and the old type glass. These are much cleaner looking and adds a great deal of light to the room.

My roofer recommended replacing my original 20-25 year old Velux skylights when I decided to install a new roof. I was very pleasantly surprised at the affordability of replacing my seven skylights, and also with how quickly the crew was able to install them, even with a minor adjustment to the depth of the interior mating surface. ("Thickness" of new skylight was slightly more than old skylight requiring a half-inch trim of interior surface) Bottom line: I'm very happy with the design, quality and installation of my new Velux fixed skylights and would highly recommend them.

Had roof replaced and had roofing company replace our old sun beaten plexiglass skylight with Velux skylight and the incoming light is still amazing! Noticed the sun coming through doesn't have the sun heat coming through so I feel that our living area will not be affected by it, so no fading or heating up the area from the sun.

These skylights were installed to replace old skylights. So much nicer than our old fogged skylights! Allows natural sunlight in, gives the room an open feeling and saves us from turning on lights!

My old Velux skylights lasted 29 years! We had to replace them with Velux as quality is very important!

It is amazing the difference light can add to a room. It wish i would have done it sooner. The installers made it look like it was always there , they were great, left the area clean and were very considerate about not making a mess. i absolutely would recommend them.

We got two fixed skylights with blinds for our North-facing living room. What a dramatic improvement! Paired them with the Neatmo hub and now we can open/close the blinds away from home if need be. So glad we made this decision. It was expensive, but because it’s solar powered we’ll get a 30% tax credit!

the installation was done easily by my husband right before the roofers arrived. the light coming into a former dark space is beautiful.

Great quality

Very easy to install. We got it to replace the one that was there that started leaking when it would rain . the old one was you might as well say it was a milk jug because it was all plastic and of no substance and not able to see through . this one is absolutely wonderful and easy to install! Let's a ton more natural light in. We will be getting another to replace the one in the master bathroom as well.
