This window well cover is actually made for a metal rimmed window well, unlike the well I have, which has masonry walls with a metal grate cover (I need to keep water out so the metal grate, while protecting against someone falling into the window well, didn't keep water out. I made the cover work just the same without using the hardware (screws and nuts) that came with it, but instead drilling a hole through the metal support bar, and the plastic cover. I then inserted a 3" machine screw with one of those wing-like nuts that spread out after inserted between metal grate bars. Works to keep the cover in place and water OUT.

Not great quality, quite flimsy and there is no way it can support any weight on top of it. However, it does its job to cover a large window well and fits securely in place with its latches. I decided to keep it for the price.

Nicely built produce. The issue I had was due to my own error : I did not factor the lack of height of the product when I purchased. The flat cover did not cover up high enough on the window leaving big gap between cover and upper window well area.

Little big for my Egress windows, but I modified the wood frame to make it work.

This product is NOT CLEAR plexiglass. It's heavily frosted.

Please note, this isn't normal clip-on cover. Instead, it's bit hard to install if you don't have right drill and bits.

You guys can do this better, I do have to add two extra bars to make it better, otherwise good.

It says I can hold 200lb which it can't. Be aware when purchasing. It does fit well on the egress well but I wish it was stronger then what it was mentioned. I weigh 165 if I stand on it it starts to sink and that's only with one foot I know it will break if I fully stand on it

Fit perfect. Super durable and very protective. It replaced a window well cover that had cracked and yellowed. Looks great.

Not a bad unit a little bit flimsier then I expected

Easy to install and cut to the correct size. I wish the protective plastic was on both sides of the plexiglass for installation.
