Poor quality, shouldn’t be sold in stores. All made out of plastic

The tensioning did not work. After setting the tension per the instructions when the gate opened the tension would all be released. After resetting the tension same thing an audible pop and you could hear the mechanism release. Not good for wood or metal fence gates more than 20 lbs. Not worth the money

This product doesn't work well on vinal gates at all. Waste of money on my opinion.

Sturdy and dependable even when your 80 lb. dog constantly hangs off the gate

Disappointed paying 30 bucks for a pair od plastic hinges....easy to install but they don't look that durable...next time all metal hinges

Screws too small to hold the wood. When opening the gate, hinge was pulling out

Seems to want to swing open instead of shut. I suppose im doing something wrong ill just to figure it out. But nothing seems obvious

This hinge is all the things. It swings both ways proudly, unapologetically, and upon my every whim. In these uncertain times, it’s a blessing to have this in my life.

Easy to install and tighten and at first hinges seemed good to me. I have a fairly heavy wooden gate 4’ x 6’. Within a month the top hinge started to sag so much the latch doesnt line up. I can see the hinge flex from the weight if the gate if i lift the gate up. Its not the gate itself or the post, its the plastic latch thats giving. Would not recommend for heavy gate.

Even though our wooden gate exceeds the specs on the package by a little bit these hinges work very well to automatically close and latch our gate. The closure speed is consistent throughout which prevents slamming when the gate is under normal use.
