The lock is stunning! It's shear perfection in the way it opens and closes. Couldn't ask for more. For the price, in my opinion, it can't be beat. Highly recommended!

Our Oil Rubbed Bronze finish is a "living finish" that will age and wear gracefully over time. Atmospheric conditions can cause staining and alkaline etching that varies by geography. In addition, frequency of use will cause the finish to gracefully age in appearance. These finish changes are not considered manufacturing defects and are not covered by this warranty. Rather, they are indicative of normal wear and tear and reflect the essence of a living finish. Due to the nature of Baldwin living finish products, they will wear over time and may already have begun the process before reaching your home. No finish warranty is offered on Baldwin living finish products, which are designed to age and improve over time. Living finishes include raw brass, oil rubbed bronze, stainless steel, and other non-lacquered or non-PVD finishes.

Improper specification
The deadbolt is specified on the website as being appropriate for 1 3/8 to 1 3/4 inch doors. It is in fact made for 13/4 inch doors and larger. This was purchased for a 1 3/8 inch door. Obviously it will not work.

Dear Stephen, Please accept our apology for any inconvenience we may have caused. If you can give us the model number of the lock you purchased we may be able to assist you. Some of our deadbolts will work on a 1 3/8" thick door but the parts required for that application are not included in the box since about only 15% of deadbolts sold are installed on doors 1 3/8" thick. Beautiful design, great performance
This deadbolt looks great and enhances the appearance while protecting our traditional home. I needed a deadbolt with a key lock on both sides. This one offers the performance I need as well as a quality look and style. My husband installed it and it works great.

Security and Good Looks
Baldwin knows how to make a lock look good. I have used various company's door hardware and have always gone back to Baldwin for the combination of mechanical durability and a finish that lasts. I was even more pleased to find Home Depot's prices on what I wanted to be better than their competition. I am very grateful to find Baldwin at Home Depot.

Compliments to Baldwin & Home Depot
Spending several months remodeling our home, we were down to the finishing touches and chose Baldwin door hardware in the beautiful Ventian Bronze finshed to enhance our newly installed French doors. Having purchased the same style hardware for two other exterior doors we were completly satisfied with the look & quality of the locks and knobs and we are still in process of finishing two addtional doors that will also include this Baldwin style. Thank you HD for including this fine company in your inventory. What we could not find available at our local store was quickly shipped through the HD website.
