I looked at a lot of sinks to replace a stainless steel one. I had bought a new country style faucet, that is sold brass and chrome plated, even the sprayer is sold brass and I wanted a nice white sink to install it on. It would not have looked as nice on a stainless steel. Cast iron would have been nice, but too heavy at 125 pounds and around $500 and more. I would have had to put 2X4's under it to support it This sink weighs around 30 pounds and is self rimming. I did put Sherman Williams silicone caulk, heavily on the counter top and on the bottom edge of the sink and put about 50 pounds of weight in it and let it sit over night, before connecting the water lines an reinstalling the garbage disposal, drain and dishwasher hose. I did not want that sink moving at all once it was installed. The faucet looks great on the sink an I am satisfied with the sink, it looks great and it is deep, about 10 inches and I also bought a sink protector for in that is made of stainless steel.

This is a great sink, easy to install, very light weight but durable, doesn't stain, very reasonably priced. Love the Bone color... a little darker than off white. Does take about 2 weeks to get in other colors because they only stock white at the store.

Awesome huge sink!
I've been wanting a single bowl sink for a while, and after looking a dozens, this one really spoke to me! I've had it a week now, and works great. Fantastic quality, very well finished, and easy to clean. It was easy to install, and the corresponding faucet I bought also fit perfect. Dont hesitate at all, if you need a large sink and dont want to spend a lot!

What a great value for a great price
I love this sink. It is beautifully manufactured and shines in my kitchen. The mfg. warranty and care instructions sold me on it. I would recommend this one basin sink to anyone.

Just installed
My son and I just installed this large single basin sink in bisque. It replaced our 18 year old cast iron sink and faucet that's was chipped and lost it's luster. Both were purchased online at HD and arrived 4 days later. Install went well and fit and finish of the sink was very good. I cannot attest to the longevity yet as I've only had it for a few days. Still looking for a large sink protector for the bottom, not finding any that are made for this size of sink, 33 x 22. I quick tip on install. I dry fitted the placement, then used masking tape and outlined the perimeter, then placed the clear silicone inside the masked area, dropped the sink in on top of the silicone. Any excess went on top of the tape so when I carefully pulled the tape off, voila, the silicone seal was perfect with no excess on the counter and absolutely no cleanup.

Follow up
Bought sink in 11/11 and my first review stands, great sink for the money. It looks greats does not stain and has held up great. One additional comment. I bought a kohler metal grid sink bottom protecter. Could not find it find one from HD. It is truly the finishing touch. now am not worried about hot pans or scratches on the bottom of the sink. Do not waste your money on mats get a good metal sink protector.

Discoloring after a year
Ive had this sink in use for just less than a year. Ive always used a metal grate to protect the bottom, but it is beginning to discolor already. I do not use abrasive cleaners, and dishes etc do not ever come into contact witb the surface of the sink. The photo i am including in my review is of a CLEAN surface. Also, the hole for the sprayer is too close to the faucet, and the handle hits the sprayer every time we use the cold water

Love the size & how easy it is to clean with dish soap. However, I noticed scratches after a few days, maybe from the bottom guard teeth of the sink mat.

Looks way nicer with our darker granite counter top than our old 2 bowl stainless so not much to compare too. Lightweight and easy to install. Punched out one additional hole for the soap dispenser. We really love it this first couple of weeks!

We just installed this in our kitchen. It said it was scratch and chip resistant but came with scatches on front lip and inside of it,we thought because the description said scatch resistant that once we installed it and cleaned it the scratches would be gone, that was Not the case!! My kitchen was totally redone and I stuck with a scratched up sink!! Not happy but will have to do until spring when we start back on house. Not happy that we are out 250 and will have to buy another sink

I've only had the sink for a week, but so far, I love it! So easy to wash cookie sheets & my dog's large water dispenser. The proof will be if it holds up to stains and scratches, which I'm fully expecting it to.

The only reason this deserves 2 stars is that the color is awesome! It really pops in my kitchen. However, there are some serious flaws, and I'm surprised Home Depot would even carry such a product. First, it is designed so it does not slope toward the drain, forcing you to scoop the standing water by hand. Second, it's so easily scratched that you need to buy a sink protector, which is a pain to find because there isn't one marketed to match this sink, and the metal grids available online are ridiculously overpriced. Don't bother with rubber mats because they will just mildew (I know this from experience). Third, the side lip comes up so high on the countertop that it won't work with normal dish drains — so I've got my old dish drainer temporarily elevated until I can get a new drying rack with a special enclosed rubber mat to hold the water on my countertop (which I assume will give me additional mildew). I realized all this AFTER I hired a plumber to remove my old sink and install the new one — so at this point it's a little late to return it. I'm spending about $150 I hadn't counted on for a sink protector, a new dish rack and a new rubber mat for under that rack. Unfortunately, when you need a lightweight sink, the market doesn't seem to offer us a lot of options other than stainless steel, which I didn't want because it's just so dull. I had considered buying a copper sink, but I decided against it because I didn't want the maintenance responsibility. Now I wish I'd gone with the copper.

I purchased a Thermocast Manhattan sink (special order with 0 holes) in 2012. It is a good sink, but the finish doesn't last. I was careful not to use abrasive cleansers (having inadvertantly destroyed the finish on my previous acrylic sink with scouring powder), but it has still gotten scratched up and discolored from everyday use. I bleach it periodically, for cleanliness and to reduce the staining, but after 5 years it looks terrible and needs replacing. Maybe if I'd used a rubber sink mat all along, I wouldn't have had this issue; but I think the finish should be able to stand up to everyday use with ordinary good housekeeping practices. I have to say that, overall, I'm disappointed.

I fell in love with the sink immediately and we installed it as soon as it arrived. My husband and I installed it ourselves, it was very easy. If you can't afford a real farm sink, this one does the job credibly, it gives your kitchen a similar look and feel. It has ample space and depth to hold many dishes, especially around the holidays. It scratched easily when someone dropped a saucepan into the sink, I've had to be more careful with it since then. After 2 years, the bottom has lost its shine and it's very hard to get the stains off, if at all. I still love it though.

For the relatively low cost, this is a decent option. It doesn’t have a very wide lip underneath, so the adhesive/caulking process is both messy and more labor-intensive than it should be. Also, the slope of the bottom is too gradual to permit water to drain to the center well enough.
