Although the best option for maintaining appearance during transportation, rolling may result in creases from time to time due to the organic nature of the backing. Allowing the rug to sit open for a few weeks will usually help it to relax. However, the best way to flatten a rug for use is to reverse roll it and let it remain for at least 24 hours. Placing the rug outside in 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit for about 30 minutes may release tension naturally and make it more supple for reverse-rolling. As a last resort, water may be lightly sprayed on the backing which will loosen the weave, but the area must be able to dry thoroughly. Thank you for purchasing our product, we hope you enjoy the rug.
