This was recommended by my contractor and he loves installing it. I love the color; it is for a pantry where I painted the walls "Blue Sky" by Sherwin Williams, but mixed at HD as Behr. I wanted the pantry to be inviting and not just a place to store things. The floor is beautiful and with no underlayment required, if there is any water leak (like my hot water heater), I am told you just use a shop vac and mop. My contractor uses a small crowbar to pull the planks together so there is no space between the planks! Forget anything else.....this is the best!

Love the finished floors!
Certainly took me a while to get the hang of how to install the planks, but then it was pretty cool! Warning to first timers: If you're watching youtube videos to see how to install this product, make sure the people in the video are talking about the same product. There are a million different kinds of click and lock planks, and they do NOT install the same way. Wish the company had better videos... theirs seemed more like ads for the product than actually how-to tips. I finally found a good one, but I don't remember the link now. Sorry.

Seeing the same 3 patterns over and over.
Overall the tile is easy to install once you get the knack of "wiggling" to get a flush fit. It's relatively easy to make cuts for door edges and corners without damaging the tile. My biggest complaint is that the tiles come in 8 different "patterns" and 3 are predominant throughout the boxes. I purchased 101 cases and have gone through 60 so far and the same 3 "patterns" comprise over 40% of the tiles! Be prepared for a lot of repetition since you'll see those 3 a lot! Good product so far but REALLY IRRITATING to have so little equality among the patterns as you can see from the picture. That's what 10 boxes looks like after it has been sorted out by pattern.

DECENT FLOORING - good value
Overall well satisfied with this product. A person needs to be sure this is the type of flooring that does the job for them. My floor is tough because of my old, old house. Smoothed out the floor with plywood, but was unable to level it. Flooring still looks great and doing a good job. Be aware, will scar from moving heavy objects and dogs not allowed!

I love my new floor!
My sister and I installed this flooring in 2 rooms. The first 2 rows are a pain to start. I recommend using a 2x4 to place against the wall to do at least 3 rows then put in your spacers. The other thing to check for, sometimes where it snaps together, little pieces break off and you can't get a tight fit. Just make sure the track is clean of any debris. When doing around door jams it is easier to square your cuts and use sand less grout. It is easy to score and snap. It can be cut on the table saw or band saw and the top side looks perfect. You can leave your floor boards on (took mine off because I redid the walls) and add quarter round to cover the gap. I have 2 dogs (one big one small) that chase each other all the time and they haven't scratched the flooring. It's easy to clean. I'm really happy with my new floor and plan on doing 2 more rooms.

Beautiflu flooring & stairs
I didn't install this myself, but the flooring is absolutely beautiful. We live near the ocean, so this flooring option was perfect for us. We used it all throughout our condo and used the bull nose product for the stairs. Our place looks great!

Look Amazing and It's Easy!
I installed this running from the guest bath, down the hallway, and then in two directions; into the kitchen and into the laundry room. It was extremely simple to click-lock the planks going either direction. It was equally amazing that all I had to do was score with a utility knife and snap. No running outside to the saw, going back inside, and having to go back outside for an adjustment cut!
When locking them together, you have to really hold the plank straight. Even though it's thick, it still bows and one side will lock while the other is still not in. Wood planks have the rigidity that negate this issue, but after laying the second row it was easy to figure out.

Good Product
I used an installer and watched - it seemed very easy to install, however you must make sure you make precise cuts. We held it off either side of the walls and used 1/4 round because we felt it would expand and if it didn't have room to expand it may buckle a little. Overall it is really a great looking product, goes down easy and is very durable. We are extremely happy with the product. We also used it on the stairs and it looks great.

This product is tough and should look good for many years to come.
Great flooring. Did a 9x12 foot bathroom and it is perfect.
Goes down very well, but was difficult in some of the edges where there was very little wiggle room.
Excellent in resisting scratches and other damage.
Plans are to do the kitchen, living, and dining room next with the very same flooring material.

looks very good
Once you have a system going its not bad to install. If you have a long run of more than 3 planks its best to have help. Attach the ends first and then tilt the whole run up and insert to previous row. I found that a piece of wood to tap rows together worked really well. Be very cautious not to damage the edge or the next row will not go together correctly. The wood block does not sit directly on the floor, it sits on the small lip and taps against the top edge of plank, This really tightened up the horizontal joints. I installed this product in my kitchen/dinning area and had some fancy cuts around cabinets. The utility knife works o.k. but your hand will get sore. I found that a knife blade in my hand held jig saw worked fantastic. Smooth cut and saved my hand. I did notice that the vertical joints did not always stay really tight as the horizontal joints did. I think the planks were not as square as they needed to be.(FROM THE FACTORY) About 1/3 of them had a small dark line after installation.

Fantastic Upgrade Especially in my 103 year old apartment!
I love this flooring. My apartment is 103 years old and anyone that has projects in an old home knows that when you fix one thing you reveal 30 more things that must be fixed. Rather than tear out 103 years of flooring and laminate plus remove a claw foot tub I chose to use this. Everyone thinks it is wood. When I tell them I have to prove to them its not real wood. Some MAJOR ADVICE. IT IS NOT EASY TO CUT ANYTHING OTHER THAN A STRAIGHT LINE. Use pieces of card board to create a stencil when you need a piece that goes around a slant or around the base of the toilet. I just cut a piece of card board the length and width required, and then cut the shapes I needed. I then used that cardboard cut out against the Plank and it was much easier. Also highly recommend the House Of Fara wainscoting to really add that extra finish. Remember to seal around the edges at the Base moldings!

Love the floor. Easy to install and didn't take long.
Would recommend this product. Customer service and ship to store didn't take long to arrive. Room was done in a week from top to bottom. Easy snap together, Cutting for angles was a breeze. Floor washes great. No glues needed. Love the floor.

The best solution when wood won't work
We had installed Shenandoah 3/4" Oak flooring that changed color dramatically in the first year, began shrinking and did not stand up to our three cats. We ripped it out and installed Trafficmaster Allure and are terribly pleased. We have pine panel ceilings and blue\grey walls so this floor color was perfect to balance the room. The texture looks and feels great on bare feet and is very easy to maintain. If you are focusing on the floor to see if it's real or not- jumping on or stomping with foot- it is easy to see that it is not hard wood. But if you are in need of durability and do not like the look of all other laminate or click products, I strongly recommend getting a sample. This most likely is your answer.

First, the sample is pretty small - it IS 4" square, as advertised, but that's about half the size of competitor's FREE samples.
Also, it doesn't come with the backing, it's not a true sample of the product. There is no way to determine what the backing is made from, how durable it is, how thick it is.
Reminder... this is a review for the SAMPLE, not for the flooring itself.

The sample had a locking mechanism that was changed 3 years ago and I ordered flooring based on the assumption that it would attach to the flooring that I had installed a number of years ago. I discussed my displeasure with the manufacturer and was informed of the engineering change. Home Depot sent me a sample that had an obsolete clicking mechanism for the Allure Ultra flooring.

The sample was beautiful and I would have gone with it if we hadn’t gotten such a great deal on extra inventory of the LifeProof flooring.
