While the product is great...the company home depot hires for installation is very incompetent!! Was a constant hassle so we finally cancelled install from home depot and hired our own contractor to install.

I love the look of this floor, but several times during installation, I noticed that it had pulled apart. There is no way to know for sure that it is joined accurately -- until the gaps appear. I spent more time fixing the spots where the joints had come loose than I did in putting down the floor in the first place. Saying that this is the "easier floor to install" is false advertising

I installed allure ultra red mahogany. I installed the flooring before installing my kitchen cabinets. Halstead New England voided my "lifetime residential limited warranty" because the room was under construction". this was before the first 90 days were up. I had complained of scratches. I had met all the criteria and helpful hints to protect my flooring, There were over 100 scrarches in a couple of weeks. Their floor inspector said we would just have to live with the scratchs. I wanted the 100% water proof flooring for my kitchen. I will not buy anymore flooring products from Halstead New England, trafficmaster or allure.

Wanted an idea of what this flooring looked like and felt like - now I know which color and type of flooring to save up for.

I bought this floor a year ago and had my brother install. I loved the floor and the comfort of it. I had a water issue in my basement and needed to pull the entire floor up. I was able to wipe clean and save almost the entire floor. There was a small amount of floor that could not be saved due to damage of the interlocking system caused from pulling the floor apart. I ordered the flooring I needed, my brother installed for me once again and the floor looks amazing. It is durable and easy to clean!!

I received these floor samples and was very disappointed. They were just small sizes for too much money! Unfortunately, when I visited a local store, they had some FREE samples like these but not the colors I wanted to I ordered these thinking they were the real sizes..not. I will be returning them. Very disappointed. I really need the full size to decide if it is what I want or not. I will be shopping around.

LOOKS GREAT! LOVE THE WARRENTY. I AM DISSAPOINTED IN THE SIZE OF THE SAMPLE- SMALL- AND THE FACT THAT I ACTUALLY HAD TO PAY FOR THIS !! THAT SAID, I WILL PROBABLY PURCHASE THIS FOR OUR DINING AND KITCHEN. NO FEAR OF WATER PROBLEMS WITH THIS.

The floor is beautiful and I absolutely love the look. I bought this because I knew it would be something I could install myself. After 3 1/2 hours of struggling getting the pieces to snap together without leaving gaps...I finally threw in the towel and hired a professional to come over and install the flooring. He told me the floor was difficult to install, and that only a couple of pieces actually snapped together like they were supposed to. I would buy the product again and recommend it to others...but would never try to install it myself.

sample too small to make decision. I recommend the product but the store should have ALL color samples in stock including the tile samples of the Allure.

You want me to pay almost $9 for a tiny scrap that is the size of the samples in the store that I can see for free!!! That tiny sample costs as much as a plank of the flooring!. How is anyone supposed to pay $1400 on 400 sq feet of flooring based on a 7 x 4 inch scrap? That is asking for trouble if I special order it and do not like it.

The previous reviewer said that there was a glue issue which does not seem possible for a glue less inter-locking, floating product, much less a sample of said product.

After deciding to re do our 1970's bathroom the first thing we had to decide on was what type if flooring to put down to replace the white ceramic tile that was there. My husband and I came across a display of TRAFFIC MASTER ALLURE ULTRA FLOORING. After speaking to an associate about the flooring he told us that this was a click lock floor with a lifetime warranty. I researched the reviews on line and decided to have Home Depot installnitbfir us. Several customers installed it themselves, but we figured since it had the lifetime warranty, that it would be best fir them to put it down in case there wad ever a problem. I ordered 3 sample colors online so I could actually see how they would look on the floor. We decided to go with the espresso. This is VERY high quality flooring that looks and feels almost exactly like wood. The only drawback is that the flooring has no available transition pieces. I took my sample to an independent flooring wholesaler and found a threshold piece that was am exact match to the espresso floor. I had the installer use this instead of the metal piece he was going to use between the bathroom and the hall carpet. The installers did an amazing job and the floor is absolutely gorgeous. The bathroom floor is small and it made the bathrokm look so much larger! We just finished the bathroom off with an espresso vanity with acquire cultured marble top. You would think all the dark wood would make a small bathroom look even smaller but it's just the opposite! It looks huge! This is an amazingly high quality floor. At some point in thevnear future we are planning on replacing the carpet in our house with the same flooring. When friends come by and see the floor they gave all thought that it was a custom wood floor! I couldn't be more impressed with the quality and the look of he flooring, and with s lifetime warranty you just can't beat it. It's waterproof and scratch proof and you just can't get any better than that!

The sample I ordered was exactly the right color combination to match existing hardwood floors. I have placed an order for 13 boxes of this flooring and look forward to its installation next week.

The glue strips become unglued and have to be repressed. I don't have a solution to prevent the glue strips from becoming unglued. The only thing that keeps the strips from coming unglued is to have constant weight, such as a table, sofa, or chair on the edge. Once the weight is removed, the strips slowly begin to unglue. The floor becomes unsightly and the glue that remains becomes less tacky. I followed the recommended installation procedures but after only about 90 days, the floor edges began to lift.

I am looking forward to having this floor installed in my entire house. My last house had allure flooring and I loved it. This product will be 100% better.
