This is quite the excellent bifold door that I have ever owned. It is sturdy, elegant, and fit very well in the places I had it designated for. The quality is outstanding. I love them, I bought 2! Thanks for this opportunity!

WORST purchase EVER, absolutely does not meet expectations! The doors are NOT white, they are a dinge color white and are not paintable at all. On top of that, they do not come with any pre-assembly at all, including the fact that the two doors are not attached to each other. The instructions are poorly written and difficult to assemble and we are not a beginner in the home renovation process. The pilot holes for the screws they provide to connect the doors are not big enough and one of our doors cracked as we tried to install the hardware (provided with the door) to hinge the doors together. There were not any pilot holes for the door pulls and we were afraid to make one since the pre-done pilot hole cracked when we inserted their screw. And on the second set of doors (since we needed two sets), one of the doors was bowed! The only reason I rated this as high as a 1, was it wouldn't let me submit a zero! I can't return this product fast enough.

The online experience with Homedepot.com and shipping experience were great however the product is of poor quality. The doors look nice when out of the box, however after hiring a contractor to install the doors, there are quality issues. First of all, the bi-fold door panels do not align up (more like being warped) the bottom match up at the fold line however the top has one side stick out. I ordered two sets of bifold doors and when installed the second set did not match up with the first set, again a portion of the door sticks out. The bottom has no alignment feet so again, doors do not align. The top of the doors are not even, one door is higher than the other but the bottom of the doors are the same size. For the price I paid, 2 sets over $400, I should not have these issues. Since the doors are installed I will need to figure out how to get them fixed. This is very disappointing that Home Depot allows vendors to sell poor quality products on their site.

I installed sliding closet doors and one bi-fold door. The bi-fold was required due to door way width. I found the sliding doors a much easier install process. Effect was OK, though I have to confess that I had this installed, removed, re-installed at least 4 times before I finally get the door square to the opening. Either the directions could have been clearer, or I could have been smarter, either one would have been acceptable. Since I'm not likely to grow smarter any time soon, I would have enjoyed a bit clearer documentation. That all said, the final result was great, it was a very tight/close fit on the vertical measurement. It fit, but with less than a 1/16th to spare after the hardware was installed. I had an 81" rough opening and a lot of problems stemmed from that.

    Pure junk
Can't even begin to list everything that is wrong with these doors. The size, the color, the quality and the way Home Depot handled this. I have the doors in my house and they don't close in the middle. A normal door size for a 30 x 80 inch opening are 29 5/8 x 79. These are a joke. Do not waste your money on these. I had professional, carpenter install them and now the only way I can make them look acceptable is to spend another 300 to have custom moldings made but that won't solve the gap issue in the middle of the 2 sets of doors

    Horrible Horrible Hardware
This door is honestly a nightmare. I've had to rehang this door eight different times. It's extremely heavy due to the glass and is always difficult to rehang. The top-mount hardware is honestly so cheap that the weight of the door has stripped out two different cams, the second one shipped directly from the company as a replacement and also failed. Only after rebuilding a cam myself with some nuts and bolts did it even come close to working. Even then the rail is sticky, poorly made, and cheap. I've had it with this very expensive piece of garbage. Stay far far away from this door.

    It's not "white" its Ivory
This door is advertised as white but after getting it, it's not "white" in my opinion. I want to paint it white but it appears it can not be painted white. I see one "pro" that answered the question if it can be painted and she/he corrected the person asking the question by saying it was Ivory. I didn't want ivory! Now I have an ivory door that can't be painted white. Very disappointing!

Inferior Hardware Components Result in Non-Functioning Door
I bough this exact door for my kitchen pantry at Home Depot in 24" x 80, in 2007, when the product was called "NuPorte Aura," and produced by HomeDecor, before that company was apparently acquired by Renin Corp. Renin did not update the door or the hardware in any way -- I found the installation instructions online and it shows the identical photos of identical hardware. As others have noted, the door is nice looking, but the hardware is absolutely horrible. I have replaced the hanging hardware twice, in 2008, only a year after installing the door, and again in 2011. In between and since those times the door has fallen off numerous times. For the last 2 years, I have left the door open, because the action of opening and closing further strips the functioning hardware which is already completely stripped. Again. The statement, "Durable - tested over 100,000 open/close cycles, good for 25 years of use," is abjectly false. When I purchased this door in 2007, I did not find any reviews online.

      Not White
Assembly wasn't bad, great look overall. Biggest complaint is I would not call these white. More of a beige as it has some yellow tint in the paint. So if you're trying to match a white decor, this won't do it.

        replace the screws
The short screws tops broke off when screwing in. Don't use the ones enclosed. Also, product sells much cheaper in store than online.

            It looks nice, but....
This product looks really nice. However, when I opened the package a part was missing. I went to a Home Depot and was told the store does not carry the part. The staff there told me to return it if I am not happy with it. If I had not already installed the other set I would have returned it for sure. I called the manufacturer for an expedited delivery and the person told me "I will see what I can do." Really? Support is non-existent on this on-line purchase.

            Absolutely Horrible Hardware
I purchased this product back in 2014 and I've had to rehang it more times than I can count. The screw and cams are totally the lowest cheapest pieces they could possible use. This door is heavy. The glass panes and door frame combined make it far far exceed the structural integrity of the bolts/cams. I've even contacted the manufacturer, had them ship me out a new cam after the first was totally stripped. Less than two months later and the new cam is also toast. The 'top hang' design while pretty uncommon, I can see why. If I could I'd return this in a minute. Pros? It does look nice when it's not sitting in the corner off the hinges.

            Nice doors, but missing hardware
I'm very pleased with the design of the doors and at the same time not pleased that it came without all the hardware and was given poor customer service from the manufacturer. Thanks Home Depot service desk for taking care of this and arranging for the shipment of the missing parts.

                TRUporte bifold frosted glass doors
This bifold doors are very aesthetically nice and modern! The frosted glass is thick and great quality...i have the doors on my hallway closet with towels, linens, and toiletries supply and you cant see through the frosted glass. You are able to see shadows. However i gave it a 4 star because the composite/press board quality is not so strong. There are only certain pre drilled holes for screw placement. The braquets to hold the doors together when drilling in the screws the composite board splits! I highly recommend predrilling your own holes before screwing in the screws. And be very careful to place the screw in the middle and drill it in straight or it will come out the side and cause a hole and unwanted mess-up! I ordered the white color bifold doors. The paint is not a good quality and is a matte finish. You might want to give it a coat of paint to brighten it. Fits to size!

Horrible hardware, but they look great
I'm not going to knock these too bad as this was my first bi-fold door installation and I found it pretty difficult. I'm decent with most types of work around the house but this one was really tough for me. The doors when finished look great and work great, so that's the main thing. The hardware for the doors themselves, not the sliding mech, are just awful. Besides stripping the screw heads almost immediately, I had 3 screws break of when hand tightening them! That's a new one to me. So I ended up using my own screws. I also couldn't get them to work with the supplied bottom pivot bracket and had to drill a new hole and use the pivot/pin from the previous bi-fold door I was replacing. They are heavy so it was a 2 person job for me. Because of the weight make sure to put down some cardboard or something to stop the bottom pivot piece from scratching a wood/tile floor when installing. This is probably pretty obvious to most but it was my first time and that's what I picked up.

                  Nice doors, but . . .
Assembling the doors and hardware was straightforward, but the screws are low grade metal. It took over two hours to complete assembly and installation, but that was mostly due to short screws that broke while being screwed into their holes. Obviously, the embedded broken screws could not be removed. The long screws were OK, but three of the first five short screws broke when halfway screwed in. Thus, new holes had to be made through both the mounting hardware metal and the door frames. Fortunately, the new holes are on the inside of the doors, so the repairs cannot readily be seen. Once installed, the doors operate well.
