Although meant for the augmentation of a specific type of play-structure, i have found that this trapeze bar can be quite universal! With the addition of simple carbiner link/clips, this trapeze can be installed almost anywhere. The local park has a few high bars that are immobile and a bit too tall for my younger one. But clipping this to the bar allows lots of swinging options. I purchased the Everbilt Zinc-Plated Spring Links, found at your local Home Depot. Link below. BUILD The handles and bar are both plastic, but incredibly sturdy, much more so than expected. They are easy to hold and the whole trapeze is well put together. The chains are rubber coated a bit past the half-way mark, preventing possible pinching of little fingers. The durability thus far has been excellent. SUMMARY A well designed trapeze, that can be used in a near-limitless number of applications. Adds quite a bit of excitement to an otherwise mundane structure. The Ring/Trapeze combo is a great product. It not your average residential kids swing set type product. Its the same quality and build as say a city park type. Definitely heavy duty and made to last. Comes fully assembled ready to mount. You do have to supply your own eyelet mounts or whatever mounting hardware is necessary for your setup. We have ours mount to the underside of our deck with 1/2"x4" eye bolts with washers and nuts through the joist and 3/8" spring link keepers to connect the chain, all available from Home Depot. My daughter is 6 years old and you can see that her hands are big enough to grip the bars adequately (see pics) Overall very happy, my kids love it!

Great materials, great weight. Fun for the kids. It was a hit at the birthday party where the four year old's new playground was "unveiled."

Narrow bar length, definitely fit for younger kids.

My seven year old installed this himself and he loves it. It is a little tricky to estimate how high to hang it for the size of the child but he and his brother collaborated on that part and he adjusted it for his height.

Heavy duty and perfect addition to our play set

Built very well and nice coating.Not powder coated just paint but still a thick coat of paint.It should last outside a while.
