I purchased these curtain panels to darken my bedroom because I have a neighbor who never turns his outdoor spotlight off and it shines right in my bedroom. The light came right through the curtains. I returned them to Home Depot and I purchased some better ones and now my room is pitch dark and I can not see any light coming through at all. I would definitely not recommend these to anyone at all.

Room Darkening curtains such are intended to significantly darken the room while still letting in some outside light. Because Room Darkening curtains tend to be lighter in weight, the amount of light blocked will vary depending upon the fabric color. Light Filtering curtains, or sheer curtains, are ideal for letting in the maximum amount of light into the room. For your specific needs we highly recommend a Sun Zero Blackout Curtain Panel and sincerely hope you will give us another shot.
