I am very happy with this door. It has a nice heft to it that feels substantial. The beaded glass allows plenty of light to flood into my art studio from an adjacent laundry room. It has just enough of an obscuring quality to subdue the view of my washer and dryer. It is exactly what I wanted. I have had it now for about one month. My contractor was very impressed with the quality of the door, too.

Love this door.
Bought this to use with hanging barn door hardware to avoid the hassle of installing a pocket door on our bathroom remodel. So glad we did because this is a beautiful door and it becomes a part of our décor and not just a door (that you can't enjoy if it's hidden in the pocket). With little prep and a couple coats of poly, it's up and running. Solid wood and substantial glass all for a great price. My review title "Love this door" should actually read, Love love love this door.

Outstanding addition to my home! I have purchased 3 now. A powder room off my kitchen is the latest. . .Just gorgeous and doesn't close in my kitchen space up. My bedroom door, also off my kitchen, and a Master Bath door.

Disappointed
The etched glass is lovely. But the overall product is not as shown nor advertised. It was supposed to be primed & it is not! It was very disappointing for it not being as advertised. We did not return it because we can paint it ourselves & we were grateful that it arrived with the glass in tact.

Problems …and then more problems
The first door had to be returned as the edge of the door was badly damaged by either a strap or maybe the forklift? The second one had a small "dent" in the wood about the same place and the trim holding the glass in was coming loose on one side and had to be renailed. Ultimately when the door was installed and stained, it looked fine. The price on the door was less than any others that we found online and being seasoned diy-ers, we figured you get what you pay for and made it work!

Misleading Country of Origin
Researching Steve & Sons claimed products were made in San Antonio, Texas. Unfortunately, this one came with a big MADE IN CHINA stamp on the bottom. Although the door is solid wood in comparions to the others made of composite and showed to be a better value, it was disappointing to be mislead as to the country of production.

We are proud of our company history and have manufactured doors since 1866 in the US at our facilities in San Antonio, TX, Richmond VA, and Lebanon TN. We still manufacture, mill, and finish our door products domestically. There are some specific wood door components we source from other countries and then assemble and finish domestically".

Very good door just came with a minor annoyance
This is a very well constructed door. I would have given it 5 stars but one of the glass stops fell off while taking it out of the box. It's not a big deal for me since I know how to fix it, it's just that it should not have happened. The brads were shot in too far pass the wood stop into the door itself. The manufacturer needs to take better quality control measures. Otherwise a very good door.

Great Door but a minor flaw
Door was great for the pocket installation in our bathroom. Unfortunately, the manufacturer drove the small brads through parts of the glass retaining molding. It was any easy fix with a nail gun. The door now looks great and works as we wanted.

This glass door looks great. It was a great choice
Good product , purchased on line and the customer service rep was very helpful . I also saved on shipping by picking the door up at my Home Depot location. I am happy to say this was a good experience.
