A:  We only recommend that you take off 1/4" from each side. If you are okay with cutting the 2" from bottom of door, you should be okay, but it if door structure is damaged from taken the 2" off it will void the warranty You might want to have Home Depot special order a door for you. A:  There is no standard as to which sided reed should go it’s based on customer preference

A:  This door can be used as a barn door. Sides are about 4.5” wide. The core is made of laminated vaneer lumber and should work with top mount hardware.

A:  The door is 1.25" thick. The wood frame on either side of the glass and above the glass is 4" wide.

A:  You will need to special order from your local Home Depot location. They can order double door units to fit your opening, just bring in the size of your rough opening or the current doors if you are replacing them.

A:  No. It is completely smooth and ready for you to prepare to fit the placement and style of hinges of your choosing. Also, it is not predrilled for the doorknob. Because of these to factors, you can customize it your own way and decide whether it will have a right-hand or left-hand swing.

A:  The door is not preped for hinges. Hinge prep option is available as a special order at your local Home Depot store

A:  78" is the smallest height available
