I, like another customer on this page, was reached out to by the owner himself. He took the time to listen to everything I had to say and gave his promise that he would make it right. I am happy to say that he did. Everything happened just as he had agreed, including the time line of events leading up to my receiving the doors in less than a week from when we began discussions. I am satisfied with the doors but even more than that, I have 100% confidence in the company that if something should go wrong with an order - the company will stand behind the product and their name. For that reason, I can see purchasing again from Steve & Sons and recommending them to others.

This door was exactly as advertised and a nice looking addition to our home. The installation directions were easy to understand and the door went in well. We will order another for another door replacement.

Since my last poor review of this door I have been in contact with Bob Green who is a representative from Steve and Sons and a true asset to their company. Bob had immediately contacted me via email and requested my phone number and to my shock he called me the very next day. Steven and Sons strives to make things right as they did years past. This is a lost aspect of corporations today but this company wants to keep it that way and it certainly showed with Bob. He has since reviewed the assembly and manufacturing process of their doors and has recommended quality control improvements as a result of our conversations. obviously things are out of there once it's on a truck, but as long as they stand behind it as they did here, I truly would have no problem purchasing another door from them again.

Door went up pretty easy. Like it a lot. Door cost $184 plus tax. To install and all the extras like caulking came to almost $400. Decided to do it myself with a friend's help. He has the experience.

Nice looking unit, much lighter weight than expected. one man instalation possible.

I was looking for a door that wasn`t the cookie cutter 6 panel look ,And this door really was what I was looking for, I was reluctant to purchase this door at first due to the 3-4 week waiting period to get it shipped in. Surprisingly, after ordering it I had it in less than 2 weeks, Door looks great and for the money a great value . The only negative I could say was I ordered a couple of these doors and one was a out swing model, and one swing/in model , and the difference in overall height was different by over an inch ? Which actually worked out better for me as one door needed to be shorter. But something to watch out for when ordering , read the specs closely.

Installation was easy with clear and easily followed instructions. Fit was perfect.
