this product changed the appearance of the entire front of the house. more secure than the previous door. more attractive than most any door i have seen. love the product.

The glass panels have a bevel at the edges which provided the little bit of historical look that we are trying to achieve.

The doors are beautiful!!! The quality and detail is fantastic and it makes the front of our house look great!!!

Well made and high quality

We bought and had this door professionally installed in late 2014. The wood door itself is beautiful and very good quality. The glass panes are beveled nicely and looked lovely for a couple of years. However, in the 3rd year, when no longer under warranty, filmy places began showing up in portions of the glass. Unfortunately, they are not on the outside portion of the glass, but within the double panes themselves. Our door is on a covered patio and protected even more by a nearby bump out on a bay window, so it is never exposed directly to precipitation. Our conclusion is that the glass was not sealed correctly as another reviewer noted in their review. This door was over $1,000 and we certainly didn't expect it to have a fail like this, not to mention having to see the filmy blotches show up when the sun streams through the panes in the morning. We are very disappointed and probably would not purchase a Steves and Sons door again.

This door is gorgeous! I don't believe this door is available in the store. I searched online for quite a while before I found it. It is really a stunning door. My only complaint was the time it took to reach me; other than that, I have nothing bad to say.

Beautiful door made in Virginia. Very satisfied.

The only reason it isn't 5 stars is because the trim wood is only about 2" wide and was not sufficient for my framing needs. So I had the added expense of buying wiser trim pieces to finish the wood, after paying extra for the trim wood that matched my door (instead of the white).

It is a nice looking door and let's in a lot of light. It adds to the appeal to the house as viewed from the outside. We are pleased with our purchase.

This door is awesome! It provides and extremely open and welcoming feel to the entrance to our home. Absolutely worth the expense.

This door looks wonderful. The installer said it was very well made and was the easiest he had ever installed. Everything was included, and the door seems strong and exceptionally well made. It was also packaged very well - braced with 2x4 pieces of lumber, styrofoam where needed and wrapped tightly. Would highly recommend and it felt great to be buying a product made in the USA. Excellent, all the way around.

Was protected very well for shipping. More beautiful than I expected

Very impressed with the quality of this door! It was also very easy to install for my husband & myself. Although, don't be like my husband & be too scared to screw the door in place. There are no predrilled holes for installation purposes. So once I found an errand to send my husband on I put screws under the weather stripping on the side opposite the jam, then on the side of the jam I replaced 2 hinge screws per hinge with 3 inch screws.

The door looked nice though it scratches pretty easily. My main issue is that it is 1/2" bigger width and height than a standard door. My opening (where I was replacing an old door) was exactly the size of this door thus leaving no room for shimming. Had to remove a stud and reframe the opening and then deal with the mess this made of the siding and trim.

Door looks great, its seems to be a very durable and heavy duty product. Great price for a wood door. Very Happy!
