I bought this not to use as CAT 5 cable, but as a replacement clothes line. Hurricane Irma brought down a tree in my back yard. When it fell, it ruined my 2 clothes lines made of "bell wire" [old telephone 6 conductor wire] . That line had lasted over 9 years. It was there when I moved in. I had purchased some synthetic clothes line from my local hardware store. It only lasted a few months. The CAT 5 cable is working great as an inexpensive replacement clothes line. It holds a lot of weight, & after an initial tightening, it has stayed taut. Be sure to use turn buckles at each end. I did temporarily connect this line to my home network, just to make sure it worked for it's intended use, which it did.

The cable works as expected and the price is hard to beat.

I bought this Ethernet cord so I could move my wireless router from one side of the room to the opposite side. For the price and for what I needed the cord to do, it works great

Perfect for my office network.

I needed 48.5 ft of medium gray ethernet cable to connect my modem to my flatscreen. HD had 50ft for the cheapest price so I picked it up at the store about 5 days later. The cable is actually medium gray and matches perfectly with my carpet. The photo makes it look very light, almost white gray.

Hey! It's a cable. How tough can that be to make. It's plain vanilla but it works. The connectors are securely fastened and are perfectly functional. 'Nuff said.
