My only comment is that it takes thoughtful planning to match the flooring pieces to the tread in terms of color consistency. Layiung everything oout BEFORE cutting/imstalling anything is a must.

We put these on our stairs and they are fantastic! I had hardwood stairs in less than 8 hours. Skill level is probably a 4 on a 1 to 5 scale with 5 being the most difficult. We luckily had a contractor helping us with all the sawing and measuring. The most difficult areas are the "Open treads" but once we figured them out, we were good to go. We later purchased the Marsh prefinished flooring to put down in our upstairs and it is a perfect match. If you want to get that ugly carpet off of your stairs, but do not want the mess of "site finished hardwood stairs" this is a fantastic product.
