Got the job done. Difficult to fill difficult to set proper amount to dispense

I thought the applicator was going to be plastic. It was tough to get the proper amount each drop.

Difficult to use and instructions not clear.

Holes were not big enough to let enough powder dispense. I had to drill larger holes. I do not recommend buying this.

I thought a couple of these tubes would be the way to go in applying milky spore granules from the same company. This might work for a powder but not for the granules in the 20 lb bags. It takes far too long to load the tube and far too long to shake out 1 tsp. It is just impractical for even modest size areas. Unfortunately I bought two thinking two of us could do this laborious process faster but it is a waste of time. Go with the drop spreader for application - much faster and cleaner. Very disappointed that this product description did not clearly indicate the limitations.

A Must tool for applying Milky Spores.

Does the job. However, not easy to fill.

Easy to use and we were thrilled to use it and hopefully control the onslaught of Japanese Beetles we had this year.

The applicator tube was instrumental in trapping maany, many japanese beetles this summer, keeping themmaway from the garden.

It falls apart if the grass is wet because it's made of cardboard.

We used St. Gabriel milky spore applicator on our lawn and it was easy to follow the instructions. We chose this product because it was safe for the critters we didn't want to get rid of.

With the cardboard construction, I wasn't expecting a very robust piece but it exceeded my expectations. I really can't see any other way to apply such a fine powder with any degree of consistency without it. The slightest humidity will effect the flow of powder through the salt & pepper type shaker dispenser requiring different degrees of 'tapping' on the ground and it's durable enough for that. I did wrap a piece of duct tape around the bottom portion to protect the cardboard from direct contact with any moisture in the grass but even after 'tapping' away on an acre of lawn it could handle another acre no problem...

This product is only good for one time use. The plastic opening broke off when I tried to punch it down to open it. Also the cardboard got water logged since the grass was moist. I barley finished my lawn before throwing it in the garbage.

Due to product being made of cardboard it quickly disintegrated and applicator cap fell off. Should reconsider design and make of all plastic

Milky spore works. It only makes sense. It lasts a long time in your yard if you live in a climate where things don’t freeze often. If you have never used it I suggest you research it. It does take care of those nasty grubs for Japanese beetles!

If you are putting down a powder, this tool is a big help. To cut down on the mess when loading, you should get a long reach oil filler funner and cut it to fit just inside the tube, it makes pouring the powder much neater. Store it inside the shipping tube if you buy online.

Make application very easy. Too bad they are not sold together all the time or giving a coupon for the applicator with the powder.

This tube makes it easy to walk around and apply the milky spore in an even manner, without having to be too close to it. You do have to pay attention to how much is coming out and adjust appropriately though.

Arrived in good condition and on time. Works pretty well. Holes plug sometimes and doesn't dispense a consistent amount of powder. Better than trying to apply without applicator.

Dispenser tube appeared it would be a "hit or miss" to apply the spore (did not use it and hope to return it). I used an alternate method to more accurately apply the spore.
