It's a breaker. Not much to say. I used it to hook up my 6500 watt generator into my electrical panel, along with an interlock switch. Easy-peasy!

I purchased 2 of these breakers and had a bad experience with both of them, each of them had excess plastic on them which made them impossible to install!
