I wanted to vent a portable AC out in a windowless garage but had to cut through a stucco wall that was 3/4" thick with wire mesh. I used the Milwaukee 5 3/8" carbide recessed light hole saw to cut through the stucco wall with ease and took about 60 seconds. The cut was very smooth and clean. It was also the perfect size opening for the SpeediProduct 5" round galvanized wall vent with spring return damper. This wall vent was also perfectly sized for my PAC exhaust wall vent. I just apply some duct mastic and I was good to go. So if you need to cut a 5 3/8" hole in a stucco wall to vent a PAC, use these products.

Instead of using the window exhaust attachment, I opted to vent the PAC (portable air conditioner) through a wall by installing this 5-inch round galvanized wall vent. I also used mastic (air duct sealant), available at The Home Depot for $11.95, to create the perfect seal. Although the return damper is spring-loaded, I wish it had a foam or rubber gasket to better deter intruding insects. Overall, this item is priced fairly. The plastic 5-inch flex duct included with the DeLonghi PAC fits snuggly INSIDE the vent tubing. Be careful not to cut yourself while handling cut plastic and metal edges.

Needed a 5" vent for my portable air conditioner and this item was just right for the job.

Well built. Damper opens without too much force and closes immediately with a decent seal.

The vents were supposed to be 5". The actual diameter is 5 1/8 " The hole saw is 5" so the vent won't fit in the hole I drilled. I had to use a rasp to make the hole large enough to fit the vent. A lot of labor. Andy

Well built. Not super sturdy, but shouldn’t need to be. Has a spring close damper to beep the bugs out.

Product worked exactly as described. A bit disappointed in the light gauge of the metal. Was necessary to “re-bend” the shroud several times once it was installed. Rather pricey for a simpleconfiguration of galvanized steel.

I liked the spring on the door

Item as expected, would be nice if it also had a screen to prevent bugs and geckos from entering.

Like many others, I used this vent to port the exhaust hose coming out of a Honeywell portable AC. The AC exhaust hose fits snuggly inside this vent. This product is made out of a thin metal sheet so feels a bit flimsy, but once installed, it won't really matter. The flap also works as expected.

A+ quality and it was easy to install. Great solution for sidewall venting a portable room a/c. This will last a long time.

Bought this to vent a portable AC through the wall to the outside. Bought it based on other reviews that this was the way to go. Easy to install using silicone on the outside to seal as insulation foam from the inside to further seal.
