i make a liter per day, which definitely cuts back on empty plastic bottles and aluminum cans. I find that I drink more water which is good. I got the free skin which is fun. I tried to attach a photo but it didn't work. I highly recommend if you enjoy drinking carbonated water as I do.

I bought the play after family had been using an older model which was so good we decided to buy one, what a mistake to buy this model. Few bubbles, what a fizz. The directions given do not work, 7 long pumps gets a light fizz and that's it.

Received this for a Christmas gift. A total waste of money. Bought additional CO2 canisters but no avail.

Worth the purchase. Cheap solution for soda and savings.

My husband thinks he knows it all. Instead of reading the directions he decided to improvise we had soda all over the place. It was hysterical. After he cleaned up the mess and read how to properly use the machine the Grand kids love it. My 9 year old Grand son said that was the best tasting Root Beer he has ever tasted.

Just got this for a few of us at work. Worked out cheap when split. Also we save so many plastic bottles. No one ever talks about that. The plastic waste in the world and also the plastic floating in our oceans is awful. If everyone purchased one plastic bottle a day that would be 300 million plastic bottles a day. Imagine if we all used Sodastream.

I Love that the soda stream taste just like bottled soda.

I got this model of Sodastream for Christmas, and it is absolutely wonderful. I have made somewhere around a dozen liters of soda, and just recently purchased some smaller bottles (0.5 liters) for it. Using this device is very simple and easy and the end product tastes exactly like traditional canned soda. I would be willing to bet that the majority of the bad reviews are from people who aren't using it correctly (perhaps not all though). After a couple of practice sodas, I got the technique down well and my sodas taste great. Five stars.

I have been a sodastream customer for quite a few years and this machine does not work like the previous ones. The good thing is the easy insertion of the bottle. The bad thing is that I have to press down for 6-7 seconds before it will "burp." The first few bottles I made using the instructions of 1-2 seconds press produced very few weak bubbles.

I was buying a case of seltzer water a week before I got my soda stream. It's so great to be able to make my own and add whatever flavor I want. I'm also very excited to see the variety of syrups that are sweetened with stevia and that don't have red 40 and yellow 6 in them. I stopped drinking store bought sodas because of the artificial color and sweeteners.

Makes the perfect amount of soda. Taste fresher than the real thing!

We press and press and still no bubbles. Love the auto connect for the bottles, though. Great feature.

We recently bought a Soda Stream "Play" and are very happy with it. It is much easier to charge the bottles since you don't have to screw them on. And the design is sleek and non-btrusive. We got white, which blends with our kitchen appliances.

I enjoy making carbonated drinks. Some of my favorites are lemonade, orange soda and root beer. Homemade Ice cream mixed with a freshly made root beer makes for the perfect float. Big fan of this system and setup.Good variety of flavors.

Not as much fizz as the older models...preferred older version
