These post caps were exactly what I needed when building my deck. Attached them to the posts, then dropped the beams right in. They fit the post and the beams perfectly, and did the job they were designed to do.

In one side you can accomodate a 4x4 perfect , the other side is to small for a 4x4 and you need to bend one of the sides in order to accommodate the beam or post . Too much extra work
