This is a premium product and it shows. The material is sturdy and all pieces demonstrate a high build quality. For something that is featured prominently in our backyard we felt it was important to have something that looked great and would hold up to weather. This piece looks great and was much nicer than the cheaper entry level alternatives. We fit a 1/4 cord easily and it’s great that the cover could be adjusted as needed and will move down the poles as we use the wood stored below. We added some weights on top to keep the cover from blowing off on windy days and they have done the trick. Highly recommended!

Solid, as described. Cover should be taller to cover firewood pile further down. Got blown off in storm. Need to weight down with logs or rocks.

The steel rack itself is holding up nicely on it's second birthday "High quality 2 way adjustable polyester fabric cover" The cover is still black on the back (fence side) and where folds are, but faded almost completely to very dirty mottled grey on the top and front. Result: It's only two years old but looks 100 years old. And it looks real bad. Isn't the cover safe to leave in the sun? 12 foot piles of firewood are usually outside, aren't they?

This is a great product. Durable and well built. The cover is built well. Would highly recommend.

I bought this 8' rack a year ago. The finish on all parts was excellent. Instructions were good & assembly was very easy. The parts pack had an extra of everything (bolts, nuts, washers). The assembled rack was light & surprisingly stiff. I put down a couple of bags of gravel before installing the rack, laid 6 small bricks on the gravel, and then shifted the gravel under the bricks to make all 6 bricks the same height so the rack wouldn't want to twist when loaded. I checked it after I loaded it full of wood (1/2 cord of eucalyptus) for distortion & found none. I also gave it the wiggle test - no problems. After a year, the finish is virtually unchanged. No sign of rust. When I bought the rack, I didn't really notice the cover that came with it, but the cover turned out to be a great feature because it keeps the top 1' of wood dry. Before I ordered the rack, I was put off by the price; now I realize that it's a quality product, and what I paid was fair, maybe even a bargain. To be honest, compared to the rotten 4 x 4's I used before, this rack makes me feel rich.

I purchase the Ultra Duty fire wood rack and I really love it. It is as shown and really solide, easy and really quick to put together. I got the cover also and it fits perfectly so my wood always stay dry. Thanks

This is sturdy, easy to assemble and perfect size to place by the front door. Cover fits nicely and protects well as the stacked wood is at various levels.

Easy to assemble. Would recommend a solid base so if on soil, added pavers.

It really takes 2 people to assemble, and the cover they sent only covers one 4 foot length.I didn't see an 8 ft cover otherwise I would off puchased.Only good part was hardware was imperial and not metric.

It arrived in a timely manner and in decent (but not perfect) condition. I found in assembling it that some bolts and holes didn't like up perfectly, but managed to persuade it. Overall, I'm satisfied but not blown away.

I bought one first as to find out if it worth the price. After installation, I did order the second one. It is a complete kit by itself with nice cover

Product is heavy duty yet the cross brackets were bent so badly, I had to use a vise to straighten them. The mounting holes in the horizontal and vertical rails along with the cross brackets did not line up well enough to push the bolts all the way through. I had to enlarge several of the holes with a drill. Not terribly difficult to do. It took a lot longer than the 15 minutes the instructions claimed it would take for one person to assemble. Rack is in service now and is sturdy and looks good.

I bought this unit to replace a worn out wooden structure. This rack was very easy to install. It works great and should last a very long time.

I purchased their "ultra" heavy duty (UHD) 8 foot log holder, as a gift, yet should have purchased ShelterLogic "other' 8 foot holder called the heavy duty (HD)for 1/2 the price. The UHD cover can easily blow away, while the HD can not. I don't see the quality, holding, or ruggedness difference between the two different models (UHD verse HD) Due to my poor product selection my cognitive dissonance on this gift is very low. Glad I don't need to look at it every day.

Processing and delivery was fast and professional. The rack is strong and durable. Worth the money. I would order another one.
