Easy two person install, or one person depending on anchor locations and the length or your arms. Only been up a month so I cant speak for longevity. Fit my use as added shade for a large dog run very well. Lets enough light through that the hybrid bermuda beneath is still flourishing.

Not much in the directions about how far apart to put posts. It looks nice and gives some shade. We will see how long it lasts in the Fl sun.

Just what I needed to shade my deck. Provides solid shaded area from southeast morning sun.

We needed shade for the deck. We ordered the 16 foot sail because it was the largest available. The color was attractive. The fabric is woven so that rain can drip through instead of pooling. Assembly was simple after we decided where the support lines could go on our house/yard. It rode through two very strong wind & rainstorms with no trouble at all. If they had a larger one, I would probably get it, because it isn't a true triangle -- the sides narrow in a bit.

As others have stated, the installation hardware is cheap. The shade itself is very well made with reinforced edges and nylon strap covering stainless steel mounts. It's holding up very well in the southern heat.

Has been up for 2 weeks now and has done well with our Nevada every day winds. My dogs and I have enjoyed the shade. Over all performance great. Good price for this heavy duty tarp . Has made my summer on the porch better.

Since sail is triangle shape wasn't sure of size since description said 12x12.. That being said item shipped in less than 5 day. Picture looks darker than actual color which has more yellow pigmentthan brown. In 2 months color has not faded being in direct sunlight. Provides shade over patio and was pleasantly surprised on how it repelled water. Better than what I expected for $30.

Wonderful! Have withstood 65mph winds since installed. they provide cool and comfort during summer heat. Will take down during cooler months. Very pleased!

Shades a backyard Windows's keeps the house cool. Inexpensive and easy to install.

The shade sail is perfect to shade my hot tub and also prevents tree debris dropping in to the tub. My deck is stained a taupe/gray, so wish the sail came in gray.

I bought it because my back yard is only 8' wide from my kitchen sliding door to my fence. This shade really helps to minimize the amount of heat that I get in my kitchen in the summer afternoons here in Sacramento. I ordered it on-line; used my PayPal account to pay for it and picked it up at my local Home Depot - so no shipping costs . I am thinking of getting a 2nd one for over my bedroom window too since it also gets the hot summer afternoon sun. I like the idea that you can still get rain through it too.

Not hard to put up, but does not cover a lot of area. I guess it depends on what time of day it is and the position of the sun. I would not recommend if you are in a windy area.

Shade was exactly what was expected and very easy to set up! Provides wonderful shade over our den window!

The hardware is cheap and didn't work properly so we returned it. Made the whole product seem like junk

I installed the shade sail easily to my fence and my house. It does its job as I am no longer suffering in the hot summer heat. So far it has done well in the wind and the sun. The material seems thick and reliable. I did find the product a bit pricey but I think it will be a good investment in the long term.

It isn't quite 12' and color isn't quite what I expected but great overall value!

These sails are the greatest; your imagination can truly take flight! I loved planning their installation; installing them was so easy and I love the result! I bought one 12x12 square and two 12x12x12 triangles. Our deck is no longer plagued by the sun; our rooms are much cooler.

The Sail Shade has held up well in winds up to 25mph. Just be sure to add 1 foot on all connectiions to allow for stretch. It doesn't provide that much shade however.

I had built an awning over our deck using smoke tinted corregated sheets (Home Depot brand, of course). We love the awning, but it gave us a nearly-green house effect. We installed the sunshade on the underside of the awning and it works GREAT! Am considering adding another one, which mounted together, will form a large square.

I was able to install the shade sail in under an hour. It is a great valuable- reasonably priced and has withstood rain and strong winds. Our backyard was so hot and sunny- the sail is a great solution. You can take it down and store it in the winter

We purchased this for our back patio. I was VERY excited for installation. Its a 2 person project. I enjoy this when it's pulled taut, but the wind has caught it twice and a corner came 'unhooked'. Its important to follow the directions to make sure you have the correct triangle and before you drill holes in your house. I wanted a sun shade instead of an umbrella bc our last umbrella was left open and broke during high winds.

Provides shade and coolness we needed on the side of the house, while looking great. As with most projects it is almost as easy as the directions show. We had to buy different hardware and use some of what came with the product. Sails are a beautiful color and elegant against the side of the house. Had gusting winds after we put them up and they did well. Rain runs through them the way it's supposed to. Will buy more for the other side of the house. Triangle does not come to an exact point, instead tappers into the fastener. Make sure you have plenty of room to stretch out properly, otherwise it will drop in the center on each side.

This was a good value and wanted to creat some shade for my children over there sand box. It took a little thinking on how & where to attach. But this stuff is some strong material. The hardware pack with the turn buckle was great as well in getting the tention needed. Worked great for my needs. Mike
