Couldn't even handle 10mph wind at half extension. Waste of money. It is essentially hay weaved together. Very thin, and doesn't block much light.

Sea Sun is a gem.
Was as advertized. Easy install - even with only one person. Works just fine and blocks the brightest sun rays. Could use two or four more hold downs - due to changing the length of the shade during wind and sun movement. We just added our own, which work fine. Love this shade - will order one or two more.

Quality Workmanship
I've had three of these shades in my outdoor patio where sun and wind beats on them, and for three years, they have held up well. Even though they get whipped around pretty good while tied down, the fabric has never pulled away from the roller assembly or torn.
