The bottom slats are angled down in towards the porch- so things blow in- they should be angled down and outward- so the screen is set up on the wrong side! !!! It's so obviously wrong!

Good quality door. Wood looks very good, but screen vulnerable. Door has to be disassembled to paint or varnish (remove louvers and screen). Screen not protected on back side (opposite louvers), so need to cover if pets present.

      Poor Quality
Poor Quality!...if you don't mind a little repair/improvement work, then it's OK I guess...knew I was gonna have to shorten mine, so I didn't mind some repair work, but if you're expecting a good quality/well made door right out of the box...you'll be disappointed. Cheap made.

      Good value
Unlike other reviewers, the door I received was made of single pieces; no finger jointed pieces. I stained it and applied a couple of coats of spar varnish, and it looks great. My only complaints are that the wood could have been sanded better, better quality wood used, and the glue had spread around the joints making it hard to get an even stain and finish. Sanding some parts once the door is made is fiddly and time-consuming, and would have been easy at the factory. For the price it's good value. It took a few weeks to arrive by mail order.

      Bad door
Licensed General Contractor very disappointed. Found the top vertical joint was assembled wrong so the door face was not flush by 3/8" in a 4" distance! I had to disassemble and "glue and screw". When I drilled into it found that the wood has some sort of weak filler instead of a solid piece of wood! The wood was so cheap that the grain was much raised from the surface of the wood in places. There were router machine errors where it gouged voids along the edge of the door. You could see that the saw that was used for the joints was dull because they were chipped. Joints had gaps .Beware, POOR workmanship.

      Bad door
VERY POOR WORKMANSHIP AND CHOICE OF WOOD Licensed General Contractor very disappointed. Found the top vertical joint was assembled wrong so the door face was not flush by 3/8" in a 4" distance! I had to disassemble and "glue and screw". When I drilled into it found that the wood has some sort of weak filler instead of a solid piece of wood! The wood was such a low grade that the grain was much raised from the surface of the wood in places. There were router machine errors where it gouged voids along the edge of the door. You could see that the saw used for the joints was dull because they were chipped. Joints had gaps. . Plan on fixing the errors . No evidence of pride in workmanship or quality.

      looks good , quality lacking
The joints at the three rails were loose , i did reinforce them with longer screws .i was afraid that if i disassemled it i may have had a bigger chore on my hands ,or i would have put a water resistant glue in the joints.the slats were very rough, and needed MUCH sanding, which is NOT easy, this was typical if the whole door.My wife loves the way this door looks.i could not make this door for the price

      Great Screen Door
This door is so well made. The screen goes from top to bottom. I thought it was just going to be on the top. It has a well made frame you can remove to paint or stain the door. It just unscrews and you can put it back easily. The screen is very tight and a great quality. I stained mine with Behrs solid ultra white and it turned out beautiful. I would recommend this door to anyone.
