On arrival the door looked fine until I noticed a large splint in the wood along one side. I should have returned the door, but decided to do a repair instead. I glued and clamped the split which turned out ok. The door fit into the opening perfectly, but I had to trim about ⅛ inch off each side to allow for proper opening and closing. I stained the door and sealed it with two coats of polyurethane. The real problem became apparent when I went to install the door. The door had warped so badly that the bottom, outside corner sticks out of the frame about 1½ inches. That problem has no possible fix. These doors are made in Chili and I bet they retail for about $20. That is about all they are worth. I would never recommend these doors to anyone for any purpose.

a total waste of time and money
we ordered tow screentite screen doors for our remodeling project one was a meadow door and the other was this door...BOTH OF THE DOORS WERE SUB PAR AND A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME ND MONEY...the meadow door was warped and sprung when I opened the box being out more tha 3/4 of n inch from top to bottom...and this one had a whole in the middle of the screen...very amazing since there was no visible damage at all to the outer box it was contained in meaning it was packed torn....in addition one side of the door was so loosely attached to the rest of the door that it would move in your hands .....I would never buy these doors again I recommend you don't and I recommend home de[pot read the reviews of these items and refund all of us our money...when everyone says the stink they do

        No good. Falls apart.
The wooden frame is pieced together with smaller pieces of wood. Over time - a short time - the pieces will separate. Try to fix this and you're liable to wreck the whole thing, as I did.

        this product stinks
I bought 4 0f these doors and removed the screen to paint could not replace the screens as they all were out of line and impossible to reinsert. Doors are poor workmanship, uneven corners, sloppy groves. Worthless.

        Poor woodworking
I have received the 2nd door as the first was bowed at the corner joints. The joints on the 2nd one are almost flat so it is usable. The pieces fit together with gaps and need sanding to be flat. To finish the wood, I removed the screen. One of the screws had to be drilled out as the Phillips slot was stripped in the factory assembly. Some of the pieces of wood are only a few inches long. The manufacturer has no pride or quality in manufacture. It is not worth the cost. If I could find another door, I would not keep the 2nd one as well as the first one.
