Expensive system not easy to install but it is supposed to be the best. Time will tell

So easy to install I wondered if I did something wrong. The quality was better than expected. The only one negative. I would like to see it sold with the option of not having all the extras that may not be needed. The seals and inside/outside corners. This would bring the price down for a product that is a little pricey to begin with. Having the option would allow consumers to buy what they need rather than have extras that you save because they cost to much to throw away, but will never use.

This whole Kerdi project has been a nightmare. I'm no neophyte, I've remodeled many houses before. But Schluter doesn't give you enough information up front to do it right. They assume you know the drain needs to be buried 4" into the concrete sub-floor, but they never tell you this. The instructions for the drain - the most complicated part of the whole system - are virtually non-existent. I have spent weeks redoing the same project over and over, trying to get enough clearance to install this stupid system. I will see this project through - because it cost me a small fortune - but I will never buy it again. It's not a DIY project because they won't tell you what you need to know.

Just finished my first bathroom remodel and used this grain in conjunction with Kerdi on the walls and mud deck. Easy to install, no need to deal with weap holes and preslope under a rubber liner. Schluter makes top of the line products - best $100 I’ve spent!

It looked like it was built well. It would not work for my installation. I had to buy another drain that was lower height at the Home Depot store. This was a remodel of a bathroom in a slab on grade installation and cast iron pipe. After demo, I saw that I had a finite height from the P-trap to the top of the slab. This drain was going to be about an 1 1/2" too high. If I had a new installation, I would recommend this product. Be careful on a remodel, it may not have the clearance.

Package included the drain, seals for shower head and mixing valve, and 4 inside corner and 2 outside corners. Great value for an exceptional product. Drain is easy to install in a drypak shower bed, and other parts make waterproofing a custom shower much easier.

this product is a very good one. have installed many from other places and this is just as good.

Ordered this to remodel 30 year old walk in shower., which has failed numerous times. This system should be the new standard for all new and remodel applications.
