The cable is strong. But, the lock is a piece of junk. After 1 storm the lock is junk. I have to ram the key in because, the insides are rusty already.

I returned the next day after i bought it. You cannot make an extra set of keys at home depot for this type of key. Get the one with the 4 combo and you will be happy and have less headaches.
