I opted for these fully assembled cabinets instead of the box store options as it seems to be a bit thicker gauge than what was offered in the store. I am overall happy as they will look good in the garage. After reading the negative reviews and expecting less, I received cabinets that were undamaged and fits in the garage well. The spot welds could be closer together and I would have liked it to be a bit more "engineered" but it is as advertised and I am reasonably happy.

We already own five of these Sandusky cabinets, and purchased two more because they are essential to good organization… no matter the room in which they land. Highly usable; highly recommended.

Just installed two of these cabinets in my garage this weekend. First, the product was well protected with cardboard and shrink wrapped for shipping. The shelves were secured in the bottom base. No damage due to shipping. The product is well made and durable. Easy to install shelves. I modified one cabinet to allow hanging of outside tools - easy. I would highly recommend this product. In fact, I just ordered the next larger size that I need but waited to order to see how well this cabinet was built.

big damage in the right door, I fixed because I need more space in my garage ASAP, and very poor quality !!!!!

Locker arrived looking good in packaging. Opened up and unit dented and warped ie. unusable. A pain to repack but no problem returning to HD.

I bought these cabinets primarily because they were made in USA and welded, not bolted, together. The cabinets are indeed welded construction, but it is spot welds about 6" apart, not continuous welds. We had to be extremely careful moving them into position to avoid denting the cabinets or breaking the spot welds. If I had it to do all over again, I would look harder at Chinese bolt together cabinets with thicker steel (18ga vs. 20ga). They work, just more fragile than I hoped.

The cabinet is fundamentally sound but the rear inside upper corners appear to have been indifferently spray painted. Obvious undercoating (or metal?) showing through in the top corner on each side. The left door (without the lock) was jammed shut upon delievery. But it was clearly a case of the whole cabinet flexing during shipment and trapping a very small flange at the top of the left door. Pressure upwards on the top while pulling on the door freed it and no harm done.

Cabinets appear as ordered however they were delivered without any warning. No signature etc. just left in front of garage. POOR SERVICE!!!

This review only allows 500 characters. Ridiculous, this is because you'll get too many negative details. DO NOT BUY! Specs are incorrect. Could be a knockoff with a Sandusky label. 3 hinges - no only 2 Raised bottom - NO Heavy gauged steel - NO, big door dent and several small dents. No Sandusky label just a sticker on the back with an incorrect SKU.

Great product. It travels poorly. Don’t ship to store. Have it shipped to home. The store does not have the space or patience to Handel this item. 2 out of 3 cabinets were dented due to rough treatment. If you have this item shipped to store buy a rubber mallet in advance. I needed a replacement door and could not get one. HD wanted me to return it. It’s big and heavy and I needed a HD rental truck to get it home int the first place. So I’m living with this dent from a careless forklift

The Garage Cabinets are nice and are serving their purpose well in the Art Classroom. We are still missing one. We ordered them last July; we have received them 1 at a time since August and are still missing one. We will not use Home Depot for anymore of our larger purchases. Thank You!

I've purchase other cabinets but this cabinet is built and shipped with attention to detail. The shelves have a square piece of felt pad at each corner of each shelf corner. When the shelf is installed there is no movement or rattle and fits snug. The shipping & Packing was top notch, which protects the cabinet. Very nice. 5 shelves are shipped with the cabinet and I didn't have room for all of them. I would purchase again.

The quality of a Sandusky Elite cabinet is not what I had expected. This cabinet is not worth the money even at the sale price. Very disappointed in this cabinet.

Very happy with this excellent, made in the USA cabinet! Well made, sturdy and looks great in the shop. The last 6 steel storage cabinets I purchased for my shop had to be assembled. That was a time consuming hassle. This one comes fully assembled. Open the box, slide it in place, set the shelves where you need them and it's ready to go! I also like the secure handle/locking mechanism for the doors, my other cabinets use tiny magnets that often times allows the doors to pop back open. I wish I had learned of these Sandusky cabinets sooner.

The packaging was great but the product itself was a bit thinner than I was hoping for the price. There is nothing wrong with it so I am saying it is average.

Cabinet is well built shelves are sturdy l have other exactly this one They are at least 10 years old we put parts in Some are quite heavy no problems

I needed another cabinet and was very pleased with the Sandusky Elite cabinet I had bought 5 years ago so decided to buy from them again. I understand Sandusky merged with a new manufacture. This new Elite cabinet is not industrial grade like the previous; thinner gauge metal, cheaper hinges, not a quality cabinet. The door does not close and latch without pushing in the bottom with your foot. It's functional, but I wouldn't buy Sandusky again.
