I bought this product because I liked the design and had seen an install in a friend's home that looked quite nice I thought this would be better quality than most of the 3-wall panels + shower pan products in this category. There have been a few disappointments with the product. First off, I had to do some sanding, filing, and whittling to get the side wall panels to fit well with the rear panel. There was excess mold flashing left on from the molding process. These pieces should have fit together as intended right out of the box without all the trial-and-error fitting I had to do. It's a bit of effort to get the vertical gap where the side panels meet the rear panel to be reasonably narrow with parallel sides to the gap. And I'm still not thoroughly pleased with the evenness of the vertical gaps. Easier said than done. The shower base out-facing flange was far from square. I had to do more grinding and fitting to make it fit in the square and plumb stud pocket I had prepared. Lastly, this material cracks surprisingly easily. The first clue on that is when I had to return the first shower base to the store for replacement. The shipping box had no apparent damage. But when I unpackaged it, there was a substantial fracture in the bottom right flange of the shower base. Similar to my first image below, but much worse. I have two areas that cracked during my install process. Bottom right corner out-facing flange of the shower base and upper left corner of the rear wall panel at its flange. Both cracks have minimal structural effect after install, so I would consider them mostly cosmetic in nature. The cracks are likely to be missed by a casual observer. But once you see them, you can't unsee them. Sterling folks... is there such a thing as a color-matched repair kit available for this product?

Third one finally came unbroken. Installed, and the walls didn't match. Pass poor quality. I do not recommend.

we are very happy with with our new shower. but since we didn't install a shower door, we found that the shower curtain was pushed over the edge by the seat. shouldn't there be a gap between the seat and the edge to allow for the shower curtain to fit inside?

Very nice designed product. One of the larger shower pans when it comes to width giving you plenty of room when inside. Seat is nice because it can be moved to either side or removed altogether. Only issue I had was installing shower doors due to the way the kit is shaped where shower doors would be mounted. Overall seems that it will last.

This three-piece shower kit was unusable. There were chunks of broken product in the boxes. Poor packaging or poor shipping, don't know, but I returned the shower kit for a no questions asked refund.

We purchased this shower in Aug and have had endless issues. 1st wall set came in damaged, 2nd damaged, 3rd damaged, 4th we didn’t see the damage until it was already installed. So far 5 cracks on the shelves & wall. Kohlers remedy to have a repair to come out & fix the cracks or send a replacement wall. They don’t cover the cost of labor nor compensate any loss. They also informed me that if we did the repairs there is no longer a warranty on the shower. $1500 shower & issues within a month.

Very nice unit. Edges were not cleaned well, still jagged fiberglass that had to be cleaned off before installing, but it went in well and is a well built product.

Solid unit. No need for any added supports. 4 pcs snap together. Looks really nice.

The shower came in a timely fashion and fit in the 48” hole left from the removal of our old shower. We picked it up at the store and had to remove the side walls from the box in order for it to fit in my mini van. It was a full load, but we got it all in. It arrived in perfect condition and went together smoothly. I prefer a shower curtain because I think doors are hard to clean and we haven’t had any issues with water on the floor. I love the shower. It is roomy. We don’t use the seat but it’s nice to have if we ever need it.

Thia os a nice heavy duty showe kit - the shelves are a plus and the addes value of the removeabke bench. One note - it comes in two big boxes. When i picked it up, HD only loaded one. I didnt think about it until ingot home and opened the box . Had to go back.

So far the shower unit seems to be great. Definitely put down a good amount of mortar to “set” the shower. Some parts were chipped behind and underneath, but that was expected from what I’ve read. Nothing affecting the outside finish or structure, so it was fine. Nice sturdy unit. Easy enough for myself, first time installing a shower. Nice design. Very pleased.

This shower enclosure is very nice and worth the money. Be sure to follow the directions and you will be pleased. I used morter under the base. Very sturdy.

I removed the existing bathtub and installed it. It was hard to try for the first time, but after making it, it was so good.

The shower is big and spacious . I love the seat for shaving my legs. I have had it for 5 months. It was easy to install and I put glass doors on it. The bottom of the floor is comfortable and non slip. The only issue I had was with ordering it in the store. The top came first then a week later The bottom came.

It was easier to put together than l thought it would be and going from a 32 by 32 this seem so big, plus l enjoy sitting down and being able to wash my feet as I've had it a month now and very easy to clean. l bought it on line and the drawing said 71 inches tall which would of fit in my basement fine so l had to change a few things and send the sliding door back, but beside this it does meet all my expectations as l put in two shower heads and my grandkids say its the best shower they every been in.

Stall was Easy to assemble fit perfectly in my space.

This shower system by Kohler is the best on the market. I HIGHLY recommend it!!

Nice large shower unit , nice for someone handicapped to get in and out of. Set in sheetrock mud on a concrete floor.

Goes together very easy. Looks quite durable. Plenty of space, even for two ;) Seat is great addition to shower and priced right. Order ahead of time and have shipped to store.

Fairly easy to install per our contractor. We love our shower. We’ve had it installed for about 2 weeks and couldn’t be happier.

This base was designed for use only with surround walls. Since we used porcelain tile for the walls we saved several hundred dollars, but needed to make some major adjustments to the base. If we had had more time available, we would have returned it and sought another alternative. The on-line description should have been clearer

The shower unit arrived broken twice(!), requiring us to return twice and order three times which significantly delayed our remodel project, costing us our season rental income in AZ. Meanwhile the prices went up (Home Depot Customer Service mitigated this somewhat by giving us a discount and waiving the fee for on-site delivery). Very unhappy with the quality control from the manufacturer. The first shipment was broken inside the boxes but the boxes were intact so couldn't see it until ready to install. The second shipment had forklift holes punched through one box and the other had a broken corner inside the styrofoam. The third shipment (finally) arrived intact, which is now installed and looks great. We added the coordinating sliding shower door (Internet #205143225). Strongly recommend completely opening the boxes and checking every inch when unit arrives (don't wait to open the boxes until you are ready to install it) as Home Depot reps told us there have been problems with these. This cost us lost rental income and extra contractor fees: Not happy with manufacturer.

Product is very nice. Just make sure you double check around basin and short wall for cracks. When I installed the base never saw the hairline crack. I fixed it with epoxy.

The shower base was fine, except like others have reviewed, the first base showed up to the store damaged and I had to order a second one. Except for the few day delay waiting on the 2nd shower base, everything worked out great.

Turned out to be larger than I needed but it very sturdy. Lip is only an inch so you really need to be careful if your using a curtain vs. A door which is recommended.

If I cannot get quality from Kohler, who then? Purchased despite reading multiple reviews of cracks in the panels. Should have listened. Tried to re-order after 1st attempt and Home Depot said it was out of stock even though it is special order and manufacturer was still producing. The out of stock issue I feel is Home Depot's failure, but I believe Kohler has a serious problem with their manufacturing or quality control.

Unit seems of good q uality and was fairly easy to install. There were a few places were excess material had to be removed to fit together. On notch on back corner was lacking material and broke off.

I love my accord shower. I am a plus size woman, but i have plenty of space when i shower, due to its smart design. Installing this shower unit was a (DIY) project for my brother and myself. The price was righy, easy to asemble, looks good, and very sturdy. What more can you ask for.
