I am pleasantly surprised with the quality of the bookshelf because of the lower cost and compared to other lower quality and higher priced bookshelves out there. It was easy to put together and very sturdy. Great piece for the stairway landing in my home.

This shelf looks nice but is cheaply made. Nothing more than thin composite. I don't expect it to last more than a year or two - definitely not worth the money. Spend a little extra and buy a solid, durable bookcase. I wish I had.

Just the right cabinet, well made, easy to assemble. Nice large storage area in the bottom for our board games and plenty of shelving for our books and nick-racks

Love this cabinet. It looks great and was easy to put together, although takes several hours to assemble. The instructions were very easy to follow.

One entire side of the cabinet was broken in half when it arrived. We sent it back and decided to do something else.

Easy to assemble and good looking piece.

This bookcase looks great in our living room and was fairly easy to assemble (having two people definitely helped). Only reason for not giving five stars is it sits a little uneven/wobbly once fully assembled, but not enough for me to worry about the items I've placed on the shelves.

One of the two units showed up with a damaged spot on one of the sides. Since it would be a huge hassle to ship the item back or somehow borrow a truck to bring it to a store, I had to just accept it. I like the units a lot, but this was disappointing.

This is ok for a cheap bookcase. Keyword is cheap... it's all particle board with fake wood veneers. The unfinished edges of the veneer are visible on all of the corners. The shelves are made of thin 1/2" particle board and there is a little piece that snaps on the front to make it look thicker. If you're using it to display a few knick-knacks and pictures it would be fine. If you want to fill it with books they shelves won't support the weight over time, theyll warp. It's alsonarrower in person that the dimensions imply. There's a lot of wasted space because of the thick corner pieces. The interior of the bookcase is only about 25-26" wide. I ended up returning it and I'm looking for something sturdier (with the understanding that I'll have to pay more for quality). I give it 3 stars because it really depends what you want to do with it. It looks fine for the price, but it's not a "real" bookcase.

WORTH THE MONEY NOT BAD TO PUT TOGETHER LOOKS GREAT WHEN FINISHED

This bookcase was by far my favorite for the price. I rated it a 4 because the stain doesn't go to the edge leaving a noticable hairline difference between prices. Books hide behind the pillars due to how far they stick out. Construction is 98% perfect. No scratches or broken pieces.

Easy to assemble And looks great. Unfortunately 5 pieces where scratched or broken in the two we bought. Was able to make one good bookshelf from the two and returned the other decided not to get a second one two much trouble

I purchased this in early October. It was delivered to my house within 3 days of ordering. The unit (parts) are well packaged and protected - no damage. Instructions were easy to follow. It took about 3 hours to assemble. The bookcase looks nice, especially for a pressed, laminate product; and is very solid. I would definitely purchase this bookcase again.

Nice, sleek looking bookcases. Color and quality for the price is very good. Assembly instructions were for the most part easy to follow. We did have an issue with some of the parts, screws in particular not being long enough and it would help if there were a few extra parts, nails, screws, covers were included.

Many scratches and chips in product that were easily taken care of with a black sharpie. Some pieces were warped requiring another set of hands. but overall it was easy to put together, and works well in the playroom.

Takes time and space to build, but the instructions are good and easy to follow.
