I purchased this rug in green and it did not disappoint. It is so beautiful. Each of the long ends start with a very dark, pine green and the green lightens to a mid toned green. The firework design is very dark on the ends and a yellow-green in the middle. The firework design has two types of rug yarn - a regular yarn mixed with a shiny, satiny one which gives the appearance of more light. So, so pretty and very rich looking. The rug weighs a ton - the quality is excellent. Although to make the rug last longer, I will probably still put a rug pad, it does not need it as far as cushioning. The rug is plenty thick. Very, very happy with this purchase.

I purchase the light blue rug and was THRILLED! Over the next year or so, i noticed that the design (made from the longer pieces of synthetic yarn) pulled quite easily out of the rug. The rug itself has worn exceptionally well- good quality wool. Easy to clean (even being so light!). Now my rug looks really bad. Two kids and a dog have taken it't toll! every time I vacuum, more and more of the design pulls out. Don't buy this if you have high traffic, kids, or pets!!

The rug is very pretty on the floor. The colors just work so perfectly with my room. Love it. The small pieces do come out like the people have said. But not enough to make it a problem. I am planning to order another smaller one for the other corner of the room. Thank you Home Depot.

We saw this rug in the store and wanted it immediately. It was just the unique style with the pops of color we wanted in our redesigned living room. With minimal traffic the rug itself is shedding like crazy (and yes, I've vacuumed carefully and don't use the brush on the star bursts) and a handful of the color bursts themselves are starting to come out. Totally bummed,

Rug is great looking but the little decorative pattern are falling out just from normal foot traffic. We are picking up these little pieces every day. In time we will have just the background color left. Suggest this rug to be wall hung.

The good: Rug looked very nice. The bad: The patterns on the rug are not dyed. They are individual 1/4" thick strands that are looped into the base of the rug. The problem is THEY ARE NOT ATTACHED. I'll try to explain the problem: Imagine running a needle/thread through a piece of cloth, then running in back out to the front. Then cut thread off from the needle and the spool. You'll have two strands sticking out of the front of the cloth that are connected in the back. If you pull one strand, the other gets shorter. And, if you keep pulling on that strand, the whole thing will just come out entirely. That is how they chose to assemble the pattern onto this rug. The threads aren't affixed/attached. Just looped through. We only kept this rug briefly in a light to moderate traffic area, and we lost so many strands that the pattern developed gaps/holes. Not a good design, not a good product.

This rug is absolutely stunning! It gave the living room the "pop" it needed.

We just finished a complete remodel of our kitchen including new hardwood floor, new cabinets, countertop, and appliances.....the rug was the perfect accent, looks great and very reasonable price! The only slight downfall is the dark brown color shows the lint but will just have to vacuum it a little more often...be sure to read care instructions!

Very beautiful rug! Looks great in our decor. It needs to be cleaned gently. I used a scotch brite roller on the raised color parts and it works very well. I will purchase another larger rug after testing the wear on the current one first. So far I am very pleased. The shipping was great too.

Excellent colors - wanted it as soon as I saw it at HD (surprise!). amazing how well it fits in my traditional home - ideal for my Family Room.

This rug is beautiful! We get so many compliments on it. The rug is heavy and seems to be well made except, as many others have stated though, the strands that create the starburst come out easily. We have had the rug for about 2 months now and at least 80 strands have fallen out. ( I have kept them to try to glue them in later) This rug gets very little traffic. I keep thinking that it will eventually stop but after two months, doesn't seem to be slowing any. Really disappointed.

Rug looks great but there is no end to the shedding of the fibers and the threads in the design continue to come out. I have never vacuumed this rug.

Disappointed unless it stops unraveling at some point.

This area rug is nicer looking, thicker and better made than our other rugs. Our other rugs we got at Macy's for 5 times the price of this one. Should have went to Home Depot first.

It's certainly "makes" the room. The rug itself is very dense. The design is fun, but understated and sophisticated. The colors go well with the rest of my living room decor. I do agree with any reviewer, however. Upon opening the rug, three strands of the raised design had already come out of the carpeting. They were relatively easy to glue back in, but I am concerned about wear in the long run. All in all, this is a great addition to our home.

The wool rug sheds which is understandable, but the reason I bought is that the celebrations part stands out and it looks pretty cool. The issue I am having is that the part that sticks out is flattening due to traffic and is also coming off the rug.

Very unique pattern. The colors are eye-popping. Several reviews have mentioned difficulty vacuuming but have done so several times on hardwood floor setting (do not use the spinning rotors that dig into rug) and no problems. Very happy with this rug.

I love the beauty of the rug but the quality leaves something to be desired. Each strand should be tied and secured so shedding doesn't occur.
