Color was more of a "gun-metal blue". Disappointed that it was not the brighter turquoise as pictured. Fibers not as soft as another Safavieh wool rug I had, but dense and still comfortable.

I could have given this rug five stars for quality at a modest price. Could have, but the "blue" in the Heritage Blue/Brown is much closer to green. So, it didn't work where I needed it to work. I only kept it because returning a large rug (8 ft ×8 ft) would have been impossible for me. DISAPPOINTED

I like the runner. It is plush, feels wonderful on bare feet and suits my hall well but the color is a darker brown with a medium blue and not the gold/brown in the photos.

Returned because it was too lpng and too wide. Would use the same pattern if it were 22" by 12-13' long. please advise of other sizes. Thank you

Pretty rug, but.... As others said, colors don't match photo. After only 3 months in a low-traffic area of the house, we continually find clumps of wool shed from the rug. I expect bald patches soon.

In the photo this rug is a more golden brown and the blue is brighter. When the rug came it was a dark boring brown and the blue barely shows up. It is going back.

Rug looks beautiful...colors are a little more muted than what shows online.

There is glue holding the wool to the mat and it has dried to a point so when you walk on the area rug, the points of the glue dig into your feet and make it very uncomfortable to walk on. Isn't a rug supposed to make walking more comfortable?

So far the rug is very good for the price. There are no defects, it looks great and is comfortable to walk on with socking feet.

The area rug arrived and it was even prettier than the picture on the website. Although it was more than I wanted to spend, I purchased this rug because 1) it had the colors I was looking for, 2) it was the size I needed 3) I was comfortable with the brand, 4) and most importantly I knew that once it arrived, if I didn't like I could return it to my nearest Home Depot.

I loved the price on the Safavieh Heritage wool rugs so much that I bought four. I had visited local carpet/rug stores and couldn't find as good a deal for real wool. They feel great on the feet. Nice and thick and warm. And the design is classic. However, I have finally noticed after one week that the dye is very inconsistent. Some areas are much darker than others that should be the same color. I'll live with it, but if I had more money I would buy better quality.
