I absolutely love this product. The hammered copper look was spot on and very accurate. I took care to spray even lines to ensure it didn't cake on the metal and allowed it to set in a drafty area. The color is accurate and I was able to achieve the look I was going for.

This worked great on my rusted steel planters and faded wrought iron patio furniture ! It made everything look like new! Awesome paint!!

We had a tarnished steel arrow that we wanted to look galvanized. We purchased the Rust-Oleum Hammered Gray 7214. I appreciate how Rust-Oleum textures the cap close to how the paint will turn out). The texture amazing (see the arrow feathers compared to a real galvanized object) and the color was more of a light grey. Painting was easy and the object seemed fully dry in 3 hours (maybe sooner, but I didn't check). Would recommend for galvanizing.

Easy to apply and works great. Lance has been with us as our outdoor home protector since 1989 and through 4 house moves. In all seasons, in the far South heat and humidity to the cold and snow of Michigan he has been on duty 24/7. But, the years had taken a toll with some serious rust on the base and joints. He needed a make over and Rust Oleum Hammered Silver was just what he needed. Back on duty!

outdoor wall art needed an upgrade. This did the job and looks great and adds color to the outside of the house.

The paint went on great and was easy to use. The only one I could find that kinda of matched my ole rust bucket.

I have used this hammered spray paint on rough and rusty surfaces several times and I have always gotten great results. I bought 2 cans to paint the very rusty and battered mailbox and post at our new house, and couldn't be more satisfied with the results. I prepped the surface with a wire brush to take off all the flakes, wiped it down, and painted it with 2 quick coats.

I used this paint when making this old time movie camera theater prop for an operetta. The grayish/black paint gave the wood surfaces the perfect sheen of painted metal. I didn't get quite as much mottling as on the cap. Perhaps I didn't shake the can enough or spray heavy enough coats, but I am most pleased with the results and can't wait to show the finished prop to the director and to see it working on stage later this month. Kudos to Rust-Oleum for offering these novel textures, subtle colors and effects.

Have used this paint for years. Love the hammered metal look it imparts on everything. Most resilient paint we have ever used.

Great product. It did what I wanted.

So far I love the results. I bought the rustoleum to cover the stainless steel hinges on new screens for the exterior of my house. As I said so far I'm happy because the sprayed hinges haven't been out to the test and I won't know if the pain scratches or chips until the screens are up.

I love this product. You can a little pitting or a lot, depending on how thick you put it on. Such a unique look.

I've used at least a dozen cans of Rust-oleum Hammered spray paint over the past six months. The two-tone textured finish has a gorgeous shine and really captures one's attention. I chose the copper color as an alternative earth tone for some outdoor metal plant markers. The rust prevention is also a major reason why I purchased this spray paint over another brand. It's well worth the price for the protection and finished look, not to mention that I've received many compliments from visitors about the finished product. If you're looking for a spray paint that will give you rust protection as well stand out from the ordinary smooth finish, I would highly recommend this product. I haven't tried the other available colors in the hammered series but I'm currently looking for an excuse to do that!

Love the Verde Green hammered paint on antique bench vises. I first spray Rustoleum gray primer for rusty metal, then the Verde Green hammered paint. This paint covers well and covers dings in the metal so it looks great. I like all the Rustoleum hammered spray paints except for the "Bright Red".

Great paint, did the job changing from white to black & looks good.

Covered a powder steel pergola quite nicely. Used Rust-Oleum Rust Reformer on several areas beforehand. Overall very pleased with the finish and hammered look. Let’s see if this will be annual maintenance requirement or hold up for several years.

This paint covers in one coat and has a great texture . It has a shadowy effect so there are dark and light areas . Very high end look.

A fantastic product after you get the knack of using it

I purchased the Rustoleum Hammered Bronze to repaint a lantern and a small bistro set my sister gave me - Because it is hammered in effect, it covers small imperfections.

The Rust-Oleum hammered enamel spray paint makes any metal, plastic, etc. surface look like hammered metal while also protecting the surface from the elements. The matte black finish adds a unique look to worn out, weathered or rusty metal surfaces and also gives plastic objects the look of hammered metal. I tested this spray paint out on a small plastic ammo can and a olive drab fifty cal. ammo can and both came out looking really nice. The finish of this protective spray paint is more of a really dark gray then black but I still like the look.

Very nice matte finish - subtle but noticeable, as compared to high gloss. I used this outdoors on an old mail box (scrape the loose stuff) and a long section of steel fencing. I got pretty good coverage and the over spray is not too bad. You only have to shake the can a minute, not like the old days when it was more.It says it's okay to use on rusted surfaces and I did that. Again, I still got good coverage. I am happy to cover the rust and that's the best part of this product.
