Actually dissolves rust and adds a waterproof finish. Leaves flat black finish that is good enough to waterproof or you can paint on top.

I use this for all of my wrought iron. It makes maintaining it much easier.

Bought this to coat and prime suspension parts. it covers exceptionally well. I prepped by wire wheel, decreased and paint prep spray and tack cloth. upon coating, it goes on smooth, even and great coverage.

Great stuff for slightly rusted outdoor furniture, particularly if they are black already. Really seems to inhibit further rusting and is forgiving even if you only lightly wire brush the loose rust away.

It’s a good product it didn’t actually stop the rust on the metal surface that I was treating without thoroughly sanding but it’s a decent primer and basecoat if that’s what you’re looking for

I am doing a review on the Rustoleum spray application since I do not know the real endurance of the product until some exposure to the environment happen. I did not had any problem spraying my metal object, just follow the product instructions. Black paint looks solid. I like it.

I have used this before and had good results. Don't rush your coats. I got in a hurry and my covering gloss white coat wrinkled.

Applies easily and so far has done its job well. It took me @6 cans to cover the frame of a SuperDuty pickup and once dry, the Rust Reformer was a nice matte black. One tip is do the harder to reach areas first, the spots where you need to hold the can sideways or upside-down. The can will spray evenly in any position however once you get to half a can or less, sideways and upside down don’t spray as well…do those areas first and spray the easy to reach areas when the can is below half full.

Lays on like red velvet in a 1950's Italian restaurant. Smooth, soft, dare I say, creamy. As true for the second round as the first! Like all first glances however, "the proof is in the pudding" and that, my friends, will take a year or two to discern.

This did an excellent job to prvent further rusting of an old baker's rack I restored. It looks like new now
