The overall quality of the shelf was good and assembly was not difficult. For a shelf of this size, the rails could be a little heavier.

The express pull out shelves are wonderful. My husband and I installed 5 shelves in our pantry and it only took about an hour. It would be helpful if a template was included, however it's still fairly easy. The shelves glide easily and make it much easier to find things. Iwould definitely recommend these shelves and plan to add them to more cupboards soon.

I installed four of the 19 inch pullout shelves for my pantry cabinet four weeks ago. I'm very pleased! They are well sturdy, easy to install and glide effortlessly. Only downside: I would have liked to have had the option of purchasing a 20 inch shelf to better fit my available space. One tip for DYIers: If you are installing it on an adjustable shelf, you will need to secure the back of the shelf to keep it from tipping up when the shelf is fully extended. I used a 2" square block cut from a 2" x 1" board, placed it in the center at top of the shelf, and secured it to the wall through the back of the cabinet with a 2" drywall screw. It works perfectly!

This pullout shelf was easy to install and made organizing my cabinets a snap! I would definitely recommend this product.

Throw the instructions away and use common sense. Rails are flimsy and need to be reinforced with wooden strips otherwise drawer may collapse under heavy load. Use small finishing nails and drywall screws instead of fasteners provided. Drawer bottom provided is not rectangular so two cuts are instead of one.

I was retrofitting a pantry and getting the correct dimensions so the drawer would pass the pantry door was a bit tricky because I discovered the pantry wasn't square, so each shelf was different. While time consuming, the result is spectacular and has really added space and convenience to otherwise inaccessible space. I would absolutely do it again and am. I have ordered shelves for my bottom kitchen cabinets! A couple of recommendations: (1) Use the same measuring device for all measurements. Measuring devices are not all the same and you could end up quite a bit off if you use more than one. (2) Measure and fit each space independently. Not all spaces are square and you could end up having to re-position the drawer.

I have a galley kitchen and limited space. I purchased 2 of the 21" pullout shelves for a existing kitchen cupboard. They were super easy to install and fit perfectly into the space. They roll in and out smoothly and any items that would be in the back of the cupboard are now visible because of this shelf. Love it! I could not get this product in Canada, so I purchased online from the US. So pleased with the product and delivery time, I will be sure to purchase a few more in different sizes. Thanks Home Depot!

The shelving unit is very high quality with solid wood for the drawer and strong metal runners and smooth rollers for the pull out function. It was easy to install having to drill four holes and mount the runners inside the cabinet. We had looked around for the largest unit available for the cabinet that we had and this one maximized the storage space while fitting just inside the opening. The pull out feature makes the storage space most usable without having to pull items out to get at those in the back of the cabinet.

I have installed eight of these so far! They are a snap to install. Drill 4 holes and and a Phillips screwdriver is all you need! They are extremely well made and roll with ease! My wife absolutely loves them! Try one to see how easy it is. You will be back for more!

I needed pull-out drawers to make better use of the space under my garage workbench, and I didn't want to spend a mint on fancy pull-outs intended for upscale kitchens. These pull-out shelves are just what I wanted. In my workbench, I could use the full 30 inch width of the drawers without trimming, and now instead of losing stuff under my workbench, I can get to what I need easily. I found the quality of these drawers to be fine for the price. The drawer bottoms are coated fiber board and in my case, they were perfectly square. The wood sides, front and rear are furniture grade plywood and would be easy to sand and paint/stain if you wanted to. The dovetail joints all fit snugly. The drawer guides and rollers are basic and not meant for heavy loads. If you're looking at these with the idea of loading them up with heavy pots and pans, either go for more expensive drawers or get these and plan on replacing the included guides with heavier duty parts. The installation instructions aren't the greatest, but you shouldn't be looking at these unless you have some basic carpentry skills. For my installation, I had to put in wooden rails for the guides to attach to - in a kitchen cabinet, you would be screwing them to the inside of the cabinet sides. Be ready to spend some time adjusting and shimming the guides so that the drawers roll easily without "derailing." So, are these drawers the thing for a $50,000 kitchen? Probably not. Are they good for adding pull-out utility to your existing kitchen, utility room, or garage? Yes, definitely. I'm pleased with mine and am glad that Home Depot sells a reasonably priced option that delivers good quality and value.

Mom is getting older and having a hard time reaching into the back of the lower kitchen cabinets. I told her she would love these sliding shelves. She was dubious, but now she is very happy. I looked at options online and these seemed to have the most widths available and the reviews were good. At first I was worried that they had to attach to the sides of inside of the cabinets, but no, they attach on the bottom. The website info said that if you have a 21" opening then order the 21" drawer--and that is what worked, no need to worry about having extra space on the sides for the railing part, that is included in the measurement of the product. We hired a handyman to install them (he was also doing other things around the house) and he did all 4 in about 45 minutes or so. It seems that if you are a handy person yourself, you could do it without hiring someone. We were worried about some stacks of heavy bowls, but it seems to be fine-espeically if you keep them in the middle or back of the sliding shelf. Some reviews say they put clear shellac on them before installing. They are made of unpainted wood, but it is smooth and the handyman said that at no time did he feel he might get splinters. So far mom has not have any problems with that and she LOVES the convenience. We could always add the clear shellac later if needed, since you really only touch the front to pull them out and push back in. And having them installed made us clean out some of the junk from the back that had remained out of sight for so long. Now the cabinets are all clean and organized and it will be easy to keep them that way. We are planning to do the rest of her cabinets.

The slide-out works easy. There is adequate space to hold storage containers. ;Mounting was a breeze.with the tray guides and mounting screws provided..

While unfinished, this product is great, just have to finish with a Varathane (I used the Stain + Poly Summer Oak) and the drawers matched well with the cabinets. Well built. As a note for the install, one should be careful with the position of the brackets so that when the drawers are slide out that the front edge of the slider does not hit the open door and scratch your cabinet. My suggestion to the manufacture is that they taper that front leading edge slightly to prevent the door from being scratched if it is not opened all the way when starting to pull the drawer out. Easy fix.

I had a pantry built for my kitchen and used Home Depot's online experience to buy this product and the chrome double basket organizers as well as the pan & lid organizer and bakeware organizer. I am thrilled with all of them!

I bought and installed two of these roll out shelves for my daughter. She is so happy with them she now wants a few more of them in her kitchen. The instructions were a bit lacking in detail but common sense always works as this stuff is not rocket science.They took longer to instal than I had planned. The spacers provided were not long enough which involved a trip to the hardware store for the correct length, plus longer screws. All in all it was a good experience.

Product looks great and performs well. This is a nice addition to our kitchen cabinets, increasing the functionality for we senior citizens that can't bend down so easily to retrieve things from within.

I needed a sliding shelf/draw to go into an awkward spot and I thought of using sliders and making the shelf myself but these looked like they could save me a lot of work. They do, but the materials used are just enough to get the function done and no more. The base is thin woodboard like material. The sides and front back are pine and just functional. The sliders though are very basic. What you might get in a Target dressing table draw set. For $69 I was hoping for better sliders and materials so somewhat disappointed and if I were to do it again I would buy good sliders and make the shelve using different materials. However the job got done and the shelf and sliders have large tolerances which means that even with my bad woodworking skills the shelves work. Just not sure for how long. If you are using this product in a finished environment, be prepared to sand, stain/paint for a while.

I bought 2 and installed in my pantry myself. A little pricey I thought but after adjustments they slide smoothly.

The units arrived to our home ready to be installed. The installation instructions were clear although a template for the mounting screws would have been helpful. I was able to complete the install in about 20 minutes. The shelves are well made wood construction and attractive as well as functional. We have outfitted all of our cabinets with these pullouts and the wife is pleased with not having to stretch to see what is in back.

DYI Shelves are a good product at a good value. Prefer to ordering custom built from cabinet mfg. You should offer a heavy duty one for appliances such as mixers and waffle makers.

These roll-out shelves are easy and quick to install and they work great. I am very impressed with this product.

I would have liked it better if it had a soft close option.

The only thing I would ask for is a template. For the beginner DIYer this would make the installation a no brainer. The product is great, its just that trying to figure out the measurements while working in confined spaces is a pain. They glide smoothly and hold alot of weight, and I received them within a few days of ordering online.

I bought two drawers. They were very easy to install. Total time about 30 min. total for both drawers. I did take the advice of another reviewer and I coated the wood sides in poly before installing. This added an extra day to the job, but they work wonderfully.

I had cupboards at my office station that weren't needed but I did need more file space. I installed two sliding shelves and put hanging crates in them. It didn't take any time at all and the rollers pull in and out really well.

We are very pleased with the quality of the rolling shelves and their performance. The installation instructions were quite clear and it didn't take to long to complete the project.
