The rod is fine. It does slip when I move the curtain, and if I try to tighten it, the center bows out.

I am very well satisfied with the Rod Desyne single curtain rod. It is very well made as to being thicker and with the square ends makes it much better then the cheaper rounded end rods. Has better brackets and the slide lock helps keep the rod from moving. Came with two center supports which make it easy to hold heavier drapes and valences.

I was very disappointed when I received the item because...
I was very disappointed when I received the item because it was listed as a 2" wide rod so it should fit the rod pocket of my curtain. Unfortunetly, it is more like 2 1/2 just enough that it would fit. So, the rod may be fine but the description was not accurate.
