The manufacturer will not honor the lifetime warranty. These drain spades are almost $80 a piece. The reason I buy them is because it said lifetime. Well they have refused to warranty them due to wear and tear. This is deceptive advertising. Why else would I need it replaced?

I broke the handle 20 min into first use. I'm pretty sure it was operator error. Still, if you plan to misuse this tool, know the fiberglass isn't much (if any) stronger than the cheaper wooden handle.

This trench shovel has made installation of street lights easier and digging up faulted services to homes and businesses. Thanks

Bought this shovel for some light work around the yard. The blisters I received were worse than the actual work I had to do.

After one weekend of a DIY operation with a number of operators the handle broke in the middle. I’m told and from my time on this shovel it wasn’t being misused, but how’s to say from one operator to the next considers misused. I’m hoping I won’t have any trouble returning it to a store for a refund after buying it online from Home Depot.

This is a good sharpshooter but adding a little more weight and backbone to it would make it a great shovel. It did it’s job.

Great for digging up cactus in our desert landscaped yard. Good weight and solid handle for going through tough ground. Love the long handle to help keep away from the cactus spines

This spade did not cut through the soil as needed to dig out our drain ditch., which made the job more difficult.

Good but best if I wood have bought at store that way I would have have pick one that had a good wooden handle the that was ship to me I had to sand to smooth wood handle I should have return but I could not wait!

The shovel is okay.. but the head started warping under pressure

Best hand tool I’ve ever bought! I used it when digging piers to break up the clay and get past the freeze line. A well made tool, and a true blessing when digging deep holes. Thank you Home Depot and Razor-Back..

This tool did the job cutting out Florida grass from sprinkler heads that other specialized tools could not. I broke three of those round grass cutters before getting a real tool like this to cut through the grass runners. I could do three times the amount of work since I could use my body weight against the head of the shovel. Excellent tool for the job.
