These barbed connectors are the best I have used in joining black plastic irrigation pipe together. The one caveat is that you should use a heat gone to soften the pipe before attempting to insert the connector into the pipe. The result, however, is superior to any other connector I have used.,

It fitted well into the 1/2 inch tubing with emitters . No leakage.

Great deal for tubing, holds up to the sun for two years so far, and no leaks. Difficult to remove by hand but possible. I just cut the tubing is easier. Great price when buying a bag of 20. If you have a garden with raised beds best to buy the 20 packs for elbows, tees, and union male male connectors.

These work great as do other rainbird drip parts as long as you use the correct rainbird 1/2" tubing. It works with inner diameter of .58 and outer diameter of .70.
