Exact same as 10 year old one that gave out. Very simple to disconnect old one in attic, plug in new one with old fittings, level, and done. Saved about $300 cost of parts upcharge and a radon "expert" to reinstall. Delivered quick with good packing. Only gripe is that it should last more than 10 years but what does nowadays?

Exactly like the original one it replaced. Mounted outdoors it cannot be heard indoors, so... somewhat quiet. It comes with wire nuts, screws and a plate to cover the electrical access.

More nosier than expected.Hoping speed controller will guiet down, pulled radon down to .67 in 4 days from radon numbers in upper teens on sump pump setup.

Everything seems to have gone fine. The fan made a bit of noise at first, but now it seems to be fine. No issues.

I have a multipoint system at my home, and one of my originally installed Festa Eagle units had burnt up after 5 years. I purchased the 501c to replace the Eagle. The RadonAway 501 was quite a bit larger in diameter and would not fit in the existing space. I originally purchased the 501 hoping that it would be quieter than the Eagle - it was not. I would say that both units emit a humming sound at both the unit and at the exhaust that is very similar to each other in the application that I have which is pulling from under a concrete foundation slab. Because the unit was equally loud and because I would have to modify the existing piping for the 501 to work, I returned the 501 and purchased another Festa Eagle.

Super easy to install

Easy install. Worked as advertised.

We had our radon fan go out. Who knows when it was installed but it ran for the 13 years we owned the home. The one that died was a 301 model which is no longer made. We bought this 501 model as a replacement. It was an exact match on the housing side and took about 30 minutes to remove and replace. It is a bit louder that the old one was before it locked up, but it moves a lot more air.

Radon fan was easy to install to an existing system. Fan has been working just fine for past couple weeks since installation.

quiet and powerful easier to setup

Works great! Had radon levels at 55 now down to under 1. I have a 1300 basement and installed 3” pipe in sump pump pit with sealed radon lid with ports. Super quiet!

Easy install. Three wires and instructions what to do if ur outlet has two or three wires to Radon fan unit. Took 15 mins to remove and replace.

Installed a radon mitigation system, including this fan, 2,000 sq/ft basement level, new home in CO, radon dropped from 20 pCi/L to 2 pCi/L in one week.

Very short delivery time. Fairly easy to install.

Replaced earlier model after 27 years of continuous service. Removed old, installed new; done in less than 30 min.

Easy to install as it perfectly replaced my older model version. I would have given this review 5 stars but the fan is a little loud. I did put some rubber in between it and all the pvc attach points to the house that did help a bit.

Exactly as advertised. After installation on our sump pump the radon level went from 6.3 pCi/L to 0.5 pCi/L. We tested in a buried basement so success would have been anything less than 2.0. Very powerful fan.
