Nice saw for the price

I love it! Used it to cut branches 10 feet high and it worked perfectly.

It arrived in 2 days ...i put it together and had immediate use for it. Limbs were fallin. Good unit. I used my big battery for counter weight. This will give the unkept a workout when using at full extension

I got this for my husband for Christmas and gave it to him early so he could trim our tree branches we received it on the 12 of December and he tried it once and then it quick working. No longer works. Very disappointed. Will return it

Easy to assemble and great for my needs for cutting! I like the 40v battery that lasts as long as I needed for any day (mornings) work. Also, very quick to charge the 40v battery.

Before I bought this tool I was working on this tree for about 2 hours And I didn't make a Dent on it,after I got this tool it was a breeze took me 30 minutes to do the job,the extension pole it's a big help,I didn't use one bar of the battery,best part is I don't have to empty out the gas in the machine,love it,do recommend this product.

The battery didn't last even one use and had to be replaced.

This is a great tool! Amazing power for the length of the pole.

I had a plug in electric pole saw that I replaced with this one. This one works at least as good as the plug in model but no hassles with dragging the cord or reaching the far edges of my property. An excellent addition to my other Ryobi tools.

When it works it’s fine. However, the chain becomes loose and has to be constantly adjusted. I spend more time adjusting the chain than using the saw. Don’t bother with this one. .

Started to cut one small branch. With pole fully extended it is rather heavy at the end. Plastic near the handle is fragile and immediately cracked. Wish I had read the reviews before buying. I saw somebody else reported the same issue after using for 20 minutes. Returned to Home Depot for full refund.

Lightweight and easy to use. Good addition to my Ryobi arsenal.

Taking it out of the box it seemed ok weight wise. But when I fully extended it was way too heavy for this non heavy weight. I do lift at my gym but this felt like I was holding a 40 lb weight up from the handle. Ryobi needs to cut 3-4 lbs off...maybe in the covering? Too bad because I really need this saw.

I am very impressed with my 40V Ryobi Pole Saw. So impressed that I plan to go 40V entirely and transition from fossil fuel in the future. It has the power to get the job done - quietly.

Better than I expected. The unit is a work horse. I trimmed my elm tree with no problems. Reached the higher branches via a ladder. Ryobi products are great. Super impressed.

I used the saw one day and the extension poll insert came out and now has to be repaired

Pole saw started leaking oil after only three uses. Products made of cheap materials and that's only the start of it. Ryobi products say they come with the warranty but you have to work through a small mom and pop shop in the middle of the ghetto somewhere and takes 3 months to get it repaired and even then they don't even replace the item. No matter how cheap the item is they they skimp on replacement parts which just break again until you're warranty expires. Will never buy Ryobi again. Trash

Pole saw has good balance and is easy to operate and clean after use

works really good right from the box, lot of plastic parts may not hold up for the long run. fine for home owner.
