Everything that I expected it was going to be. The only complaint I have is wish it had a longer handle

A tool such as Roberts carpet puller is a must have if you are pulling up glue down carpet. I would suggest even using two, one for each hand for the tougher pulls.

it is a good tool just needs a little tweek like being able to adjust the jaws or mouth of it to grab hold of thicker carpets with padding.

Pulled 50 year old glued down carpet out of a 12x12 room in about a half hour. Most of the time was spent cutting the carpet into one foot strips. Also pulled about 200 additional square feet of carpet from another room, hallway and closets in another hour or so including disposing of the old carpet. I don't think there is another tool that would make pulling glued down carpet so easy.

Easy to use and has lots of power

I was extremely impressed by the quality of this tool. It does exactly what it is stated in the description. I cut the carpet into strips and used the puller to pull each section up individually which made it a lot easier on this 70 yr. old woman. The puller is very sturdy and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is pulling up old carpet that is glued down to a hardwood floor.

Prior to purchasing this tear-out tool, we would "attempt" to grab the edge of the carpet and pull! What a difference this made. Saved so much time. Very simple to use and well constructed.
