This worked great as underlayment for the laminate floors I just installed in my guest bedroom. I was glad I didn't have to install a separate moisture barrier as well, since the Airguard adds cushion as well as having a waterproof top layer. The self adhesive overlap was another great feature, and the excess adhesive from the first row doubles as a great snag/puncture repair method. The underlayment was pretty resistant to tearing too. I installed it perpendicular to the flooring, so I was walking on it while installing the rest of the floor, and it did pretty well with standing up to the extra wear. I did scrape through it a few times while I was hitting the tapping block with the mallet, but it's pretty easy to patch anyway. The red top color and clear bottom color help make it easy to keep the underlayment right side up. Plus it's easier to see tears and holes that need to be repaired in the red top coat. It's also great for keeping the floor from sounding hollow. While I was picking out laminate, I noticed the underlayment display Home Depot has set up in the same aisle. They had a golf ball you could hit against flooring with different types of underlayment below it. The Airguard was one of the best options, and it was also one of the cheapest that actually made the floor sound solid and not hollow. The only downside is that you'll get quite a few styrofoam beads scattered about the room as you're cutting it. This was particularly noticeable when I trimmed the excess when I

For me Microban protection is a huge factor as it prevents the growth of stain and odor causing bacteria and also inhibits mold and mildew. In our basement we have issues with moisture that causes slight mildew problem that I no longer have to worry about. How effective it is, only time will tell as a month is too short of a time to tell that. Installation was easy. Thickness is okay and better than standard underlayment or pre-attached underlayment. It's more cost-effective to buy this bigger roll and 630 ft will work for most rooms. Sound protection/ deadening is effective but not great. Overall an above average product.

We have a room in our house that used the other paper products with the bubbles and we do not like it. Snaps, crackle and pops every time you walk. This product is nice, soft and sturdy. The only negative I can stay is I wish the sticky stuff was made better and able to stick to everything..

I am really pleased with 3-In-1 Airguard Underlayment I purchased from Home Depot. The tape strip really keeps the pieces in place and I feel secure knowing that the water moisture protection is built right in. Love it.

Install was quick and easy. Product was good quality

It was our first time installing hard wood flooring. Went down really easy . Cutting was easy. It sticks to help line up the next row. Instructions clear. Cheaper than cork, which was recommended for our project, but more expensive than other similar underlayments. Price was comparable to quality of product.

This was easy to put down and the overlapping glue flap made it really easy to attach side by side strips. Floor is softer and a lot quieter then the old laminate I had in there because of the underlayment

it has a good thickness to it, the plastic layover piece and adhesive is pretty cool. a piece of duct tape to hold your sheets in place works well also. i wish it was a bit cheaper but you pay to play. i'm looking at order the cheaper $10 stuff online because the 2 in 1 isnt exactly "needed", but the thickness is an added bonus. the end pieces are not always exactly straight, over the last week i payed 13 rolls of this. a good sharp blade and it's easy to cut and if you take a laminate piece and line it up with the printing and make your cut. i would say this underlayment IS a good investment, remember, a good laminate floor will last you 10+ years anyways especially devoid of moisture influenced environments such as a kitchen or bathroom.

Product was easy to work with. The adhesive backing strip had poor adhesion but was adequate. I am a bit of a perfectionist so I used sheathing tape to ensure a good seal where there were multiple intersections. Make sure to use good, sharp, scissors or knife to cut in order to avoid tearing and getting the little white foam balls all over the place. With a sharp blade, this was not an issue.

Great product worked as expected

I didn't have to used the underlayment due to the fact the floor was sealed.

This padding feels good under my floor I would buy it again

The product worked fine for us, but we found that it was subject to tearing rather easily if we stepped on it before laying the plank. We had to be very careful not to walk on it with shoes.

The product came as indicated when we ordered it. It is quite durable and rolls out easy and lays flat. It adds a little cushion and sound barrier to the floor which we like.

Easy to do one roll will do a whole room

Compared to similar underlayment this brand is fairly priced. Unsure how it will hold up but I used it for my padded LVP flooring install as recommended but probably over kill so decided to go with this brand to follow recommendations.

Very clever and practical underlayment. It not only insulates and softens the walk on the floor it also neutralizes the effects of small bumps in the subfloor.
